I agree with the bit in bold. 28k is the price 2.5 year old 100cc commuter bikes sell for.

If you are buying another bike and selling it at a similar price, I wouldn't mind buying it second hand from you

Sorry for putting it this way dude but ANYONE who bought your Dazzler for 28600 can resell it immediately and make a sweet 15000-20000 profit.

Here we get well maintain 2 year old 100cc bike like splendour in 18-20K

No way in mumbai , the guy who purchased was a college guy , average asking price was around 25 K , almost 150 people took a look at our dazzy , if it would have been unicorn i would have commanded 50~60k easily. HH 100 cc's get gould price around 35K plus, bajaj 100cc's 15~20K max to nicely maintained bike , sorry guys thats the way it goes, it was a bad deal indeed! thanks for your reponse.

Thats awful resale then for Hero Honda!! My own 6 year old Caliber 115 fetched 23k back in 2009 !! And that was for a discontinued product, a bike which I bought for less than the price of a Splendor!!!

It actually depends on on's selling skill and the customer, how much he is willing to buy that particular bike....I remember i sold my 11 year old Kinetic Honda to my Friend at just 4K !!!

A second-hand dealer was ready to give 38k for a 2+ years old Dazzler. He could easily sell the bike for an individual at 45k. I guess this member is also from Mumbai.

I somehow feel you are deliberately trying to put the Dazzler in bad light for your problems. You criticize it all the time, but you never post anything on Dazzler ownership thread. You behave as if Dazzler ownership thread does not exist on xBhp and you continue to post here in wrong thread. Open your eyes and see what other owners have to say on the ownership thread.

I too sold 9 year bajaj boxer @ whooping 23,000/- bucks that too a local mechanic a year ago, it had kawasaki engine and untouched by any mechanic.
I joined xbhp only 6 months ago when we purchased GS and was scanning for owenership reviews.why should i critisize a product when we owned dazzler proudly ( purchased @ 71K), infact i did because we owned one , dazzy is a good product , just honda services and there attitude made us suffer.
If you find anything like critics why did you sale your dazzler after 2 years is it for price (48K), i think you too had some nightmerish experience!
I joined this thread as a boring thread if you scan just 2 pages behind and see it became active again. by the way i think you can suggest any good bike in 125 cc , we have HH karizma in mind if we are able to allocate our finanace , thanks in advance for reponses arising

Second hand market depends on in general like market sentiments , geography , brand value , hit product , continuety of perticular model , and not the least your selling skills ,bullet , fiero , old activa , caliber , splendor/passion , unicorn , karizma , pulsar classic,victor and few more command high resale values due there longitivity reliablity , faith and brand ....not all products from big brand like honda are great , nor all products from low brand like mahindra/kinetic are bad.
Companies do not alter certain hit products irrespective of certain flaws as it is accepted by market.

You'r right kinetic honda had passed its peak 10~12 years ago when Activa took over , my uncle got 30K 10 years ago for 8 years old KH,
4000 is justified price as this scooter is almost extinct , one of the best 2 wheels with unparllel utitlity we had.

When somebody from Bombay can get a price of 38k from a dealer, why couldn't you? You have no answer for this. You just sold your bike for peanuts. This is a fact, if you want to believe or not.

For gods sake, don't cry in this thread for the ownership experiences of Dazzler.

Karizma is not a 125cc bike

Karizma 220cc is in consideration if budget permits , or 125 cc 's

Make your mind first... There is lot of difference in ZMA & 125cc bikes in Handling,performance & fuel efficiency...For hardcore city use,go for a 125cc bike..

Thanks for the reply , its just 150cc's that we were used to so downgrading (there is big difference of 25cc's in practicle aspects without much gain in FE) is little painfull (my brother is still in nomoods after dazzy departed) , no-no bajaj bikes (200ns /220 /135 seems temtative due to price), yamaha bikes are unnecessary expensive to own due to FE , no HH ZMA / hunk/extreame , karizma R seems better choice , but FE is doubtfull , finally we will have to go for old horse unicorn or 2nd gs 150r, they are more practical in mumbai streets and unicorn waiting period is very low now , Gs is still a ideal option but we already have one .
