I totally Agree with your points....my Cousin has purchased a Black GS 1 week ago..Though i ride a ZMA, I really liked the big bike feel of GS & its styling,Also the exhaust note was quite good too..

Yes! GS150 is the best cruiser in 150cc category.

Nobody has reported Dazzler's engine dying; its just your assumption. I too request you to go to Dazzler's ownership thread and see discussions there before concluding things (link provided in my earlier post).
My intervening in this 'wrong thread ' started with this perticular thread not with bikes ( very less active memebers) , as i own both dazzy red & gs white bikes and love them equally dazzy was favorite due to low weight and better performance but some crucial problems which are unrectified by honda ( engine starting- changed battery 3 times , starting circuit , engine dying during monsoon seasons).
if you spare some time to peep in CBZ/hunk (wrong)thread you will experience some geneuine discussions and knowledge sharing going on there which is help full to other bike owners too, that's best thread in xbhp though i don't own HH bike.
Request to read the post carefully and help people like us to resolve the issues instead of undelayed quick replys. Any way i am selling my beloved dazzler and looking for customer in mumbai region , hope i get good value .my brother would go for pulsar 200ns or unicorn ( as deliveries are fast now though on second priority).

Yes , handling is its asset , mono shocks shine there

Your Dazzler's case may be of a peculiar one, and it mostly because of the inefficiency of the service people to rectify the problem. I haven't seen any Dazzler owner complaining dying engines in monsoons.

In any ownership threads, there will be knowledge-sharing about the owner's experiences. You are still looking at a wrong thread regarding Dazzler, and you say there are no discussions about ownership. God help you.

Though me and my brother who actully owns dazzler are soft riders , it performed owsome .. ..outstanding for first year , no issues in mumbai climate and rains .i agree inefficiency at honda SC and parts availablity made us frustrated after those dream days . our case may be exceptional agreed , but by honda standards ( my wife has activa new model , my father owns first generation activa and its gem of a scooter) , there were crucilal issues like engine reassembling with new piston rings , problem with carb tunning , which we rectified , but battery changing every 4/5 months was too much and no kick option... in fact i too had booked dazzler 8 months ago fo myself , but due to attitude( delaying deliveries ) and kind of services we recieved for our old red dazzy , i just cancelled the booking and got GS though it was not my choice ( am 5.3' , 55 kg), Uni was 8 months away.
I agree ownership experience is what this forum is all about , but there are great people here who actually match there pulses with there machines .

Dazzler is a (too)good bike and ideal to Indian riders in terms of handling , weight , FE , performance ( its better than FZ / Pulsar 150, sorry i do not criticize products i don't own),smoothness , little less than unicorn /GS ,maintainance!! this is where i put GS right away in front.

Sorry guys for all those unecessary long explaination , as we already own one , we have right to criticize some shortcommings which can be rectified , hope Honda reads this and improves .

Though both bikes are better they have sluggish sale, Dazzler is expensive comparatively but out sales gs 150r due to very aggressive marketing , they(sales person) will turn you from stunner /unicorn even twister too Dazzler , also dazzzy is proportinate bike , short stance , low weight like 125cc, power full engine , FE , cute ( to most of us) but ..unicorn outsales despite old bike looks and features. GS doesn't do any good and is usually lowest selling bike due to lazy marketing , low network for both SC/ dealership , spares issue , overgrown size & weight ,lazy pickup (slowest of the lot even slower to 100 cc bikes , though can attain high speeds on high way) beautifull but not appealing to most of us . but build quality , finishing is of top class almost like tank .

I am sorry for your bad experience with Dazzler, even with other Honda products. All are not lucky sometimes. For me, it appears more of a problem with the service center than the products. Sometimes there will be defective parts in any product. Warranty offer is to rectify them. Regarding engine dying in cold conditions, its the problem with tuning of the engine. Any mechanic with good experience in Unicorn can tune the carb well.

Instead of coming all of a sudden in to a wrong thread, you could have posted all your problems in Dazzler's ownership thread. Somebody might have assisted you. If you had followed the ownership thread, you would have got some fair knowledge about how to maintain the Dazzler.

Unicorn will have lead from start due to low range power and widely spaced gears but on open streches GS will out run uni because of 6th cog and better mid-top end , at 80-120 kmh gs is happy to cruise all day returning good FE, its lazy pickup and takes its own sweet time to reach 60 kph overtaken by 100 cc bikes too , unless we ram throttle.

Very Simple CB Unicorn will Win.
                          Unicorn
                          13.3bhp@ 8k rpm
1.5kg-m(15Nm) @5.5k rpm <-- Mod Message: Incorrect Info. Please ignore.
                          weight of 146kg

                          GS150r
13.8bhp@ 8.5k rpm (here it will take 500 more rpms)
13.4Nm @ 6k rpm (it will acheive torque at 500 more rpm, where as Unicorn will achieve it with in 5K rpm that too 2 Nm more than GS150r)
weight of 149kg (weight is more by 3kg.)

Unicorn will have anygiven time more better pick up and torque than GS150, which makes it little less in mileage compare to GS150r

But friends we are merging very different topics than what this Thread is about!!
Kindly have this queries posted on righ thread!
