well I would still prefer SV650, the 650 is THE PERFECT bike IMHO for INDIA.. but nonetheless It's a steal if the Bandit 1250 would be under 9 lacs.

Definitely a good deal for 9L, unfortunately though am missing the target by a good 30%... As Aryan said, hopefully the choice is available within that budget.

            I'd rather put a few more k's to get the cb1000r .
135mm GC is not good and 95 horses , again is quite low. As far as styling goes , not my preferred choice.
            Although , if it comes at 7-7.5 L on-road , I might be interested
(my vote , price is still high for this bike)

BTW , KTM adventure by year end ? thats a good news

As for me, 9 lakhs is a strech.

But its good to see more options being available.

A big stretch.. a Honda CRF 450 with half the power and half the price, would make the perfect cut

the CRF 450 is an off-road machine.. touring/commuting in stop n go traffic would be an headache.. u almost get off the bike to keep ur foot on the ground.

At 9L I would rather buy a car.... (yeah flame me for that)
Talk about having a bike half its capacity and half its price, and I am all game!

Wont this hamper the sales of the BUSA, if released ?? How many of those have they sold ??? But if this is 9 - 9.5 !!! The busa sales is definitely gonna take a hit...
If my decision has a word... I would not release this bike to a market like India, unless it is able to see the difference between a busa and this... I would not bank on my sales figures with only the enthusiasts who might want it....
But hey that's just me.... WOuld be great to have it !!!

I would have loved to see "Bandit 650 at 6lakh" as a third option up there in the poll.

This is Bandit 650. Looks exactly same as Bandit 1250 and comes with close to 70PS of power. But all the companies are taking the easy route

                      This is Bandit 650S

Suzuki Bandit 1250 in the 9L price range sounds a good deal. It would be more tempting if it comes one or two lakhs less (for the base variant/naked version, if any). The fully-faired version would mean the same thing - park your bike at home and take your lesser CC Indian bike for touring.

A Bandit 650 will look more tempting - a straight competition for the Ninja 650R (just in case both get in to the Indian shores).

Although I am more into sports biking and even saved enough money for a 600cc but if bandit is launching with 9lac tag price , I would rather wait for another 2-3 years, save more and get this...
If I get a touring machine in 9lacs its a chocolate fudge with ice cream for me

Bandit 650 or SV 650 can actually fill the current huge void between the Ninja 250R and the liter class bikes.

Suzuki already have those (Bandit 650 / SV 650) bikes in their international lineup.. all that is required is some effort from their side to bring that down to India.

                            SV 650 Lineup

95 Horses is more than enough. People complaining about power have no idea How fun 95 horses can be and that monstrous torque. But i will really like to see the naked version as Option. Should be great for city use and It will be a awesome wheelie machine.

We can do with CNG/LPG option too .
