MG damn good initiative man
...and yes it would be great to meet all offline as well.... the only day which can be fixed IMO is Sunday as people do have off from there office as well..
PS: and members who think Dhaba cant handle more than 50 riders...you gotta think again coz till now you guys havent seen anything when it comes to grouping at dhaba.....

Got this news letter regarding Auto Expo but unfortunately there wasn't any info regarding the two wheeler market
Hope to get some preview info of the two wheeler section. Meanwhile sharing what I got... Don't keel me for posting something related to four wheelers on a motorcycle forum..

Nissan is ready to introduce its small hatchback model Micra next year. This will be the first small car from Nissan and is expected to be developed on the new global platform. The new model will be powered by 1.2L petrol and 1.5L diesel engine priced at Rs 4 lakh and above.
Ford unveiled its small car model Figo last month which will also be showcased at the Auto Expo and more details of the car will be shown. The company has not revealed its prices so far or any other technical details but it is expected to have 1.2L petrol and 1.4L Duratorq diesel engine.
Maruti launched a number of new models this year and is currently revamping all its models with the new K-series engines. It has a strong small car portfolio with models like Alto, Wagon R, Ritz and A-Star. It will be bringing in the new M800 model by 2012 with the new K-series engine so that it meets the new emission norms. However, it does have plans to bring its new premium sedan Kizashi to India. It is expected that it will showcase the model at the Auto Expo.

Possible reasons could be: They want the hype itself to be a selling factor, do not want other manufacturers to start working on a competitive product and give a tough fight early on, or it could be affecting their stock market postions. Plus the newsletter gives only a preview of some of the models that can be expected there and not all of them. So we can still keep our hopes high

First thing. 7th & 8th are not Saturday and Sunday, 10th and 11th are but since it will be the last days of the expo so it is almost ruled out because I guess most of the outstation members will be here for the first few days of expo.
The place is not final and can be decided based on everyone's preference and group strength.
Ride which inflammable proposed is also ruled out as it would unnecessarily attract a lot of attention on road with such a huge group and we might face trouble with traffic police and all. Although we can meet somewhere outside city limits and go to Manesar McDees.
I'm expecting more outstation members to participate in this thread so as to get a clear picture of the dates when most of us will be available.Comment
