Is that just me or others also feel that there is very little room for the front suspension to move? At least from sides it look cramped.

SS400. OMG. Again Hero gone. Bajaj revealed the beast. Now if the price is within normal people's budget Honda, Hero are gone. Even Hero's under belly exhaust cant beat this beast.

And I will be waiting to watch SS400 beats Ninja 300. Superb job done by bajaj.

This Bajaj SS400 is designed by Sarabjit Singh Kalsi. An Indian designer! The engineering consultant was none other than the 'Father of the Fireblade' Tadao Baba from Japan!

This auto expo is quite special because at least 2 Indian companies, Hero and Bajaj, have gone all out and stolen the 2 wheeler show so far. Be proud of it. Even though these 2 are competitors and you might like Bajaj more, But this moment right now is the one to be proud of. Be proud of both Bajaj and Hero that they are seeming to achieve great things in the motorcycle market. While we all knew about Bajaj, but Hero has nothing been short of a pleasant surprise as well.

While Bajaj has the base for their CS400 and SS400 ready in Duke 390, Hero has done fantastically well with EBR as well with a very light weight and powerful 250cc and not to mention the PARALLEL TWIN 620cc Hastur!

Hero and Bajaj have shown motorcycles in different engine displacements, none shall greatly threaten the market of the other Let's be happy for both Indian companies

To add to Satellite.kid's post, do not forget the diesel from hero, hero leap, dash, hero ion and the simplEcity. Do not keep your vision narrow. Both the companies have done well. No use comparing these two. If you need to compare, do it for these two awesome companies VS the foreign brands.

Maybe Bajaj sees the Auto Expo as a platform to reveal their future plans/products to the public. They might launch their 'ready to roll' bikes separately after the expo, like they launched the 200NS. I'm saying so because we haven't seen any of the expected bikes from Bajaj yet. If the 400s are only concepts/prototypes, there must be some ready to be launched bikes. What do you guys think?

You are absolutely right. But don't do it! There are some wolves in sheep's clothing here. They'll attack you if they get a chance.

I at first liked the fully faired model, but on seeing the pictures of both bikes, I now love the street fighter. There is something which is desi about it. Might be the attitude.

The naked should have had low front profile. It looks too high from front right now.

Its more of a Hero vs Bajaj vs Mahindra. The foreign brands are allowing them to occupy their shares in the sports segment by not offering vfm bikes.

                              My personal opinion.
