I just loved the look of the cs400 dam she looks so cool but I seriously doubt if they bring it in the Indian market I have a feeling that these are the concept bikes I don't know I asked few other people and they all said that this is a concept bike from bajaj which has been displayed here as no one is telling about the launch or when this bike will come in the market.

Well I just hope they do get the cs I would love to buy the machine well for the price the bike is very good 1.65 or 2 lacs less for a 400 cc worth it.

What do you all think will they get it in the coming years. I just hope so they do would love to see them running around on the roads and specially the blue color will look superb on the cs version.

The head lights the meter and specially something which I have always seen on a car fuel consumption of how much km u will be going on the bike.

It is for sure not a concept. Its a near production prototype and as said in autogyaan video by bajaj chief 400ss will go on sale this year. No word on 400cs yet. I very much hope they bring it around june.

But i tell you, pulsars are desi. They will launched sooner or later in india for sure.

Thanx for the news yes I was reading the same thing somewhere they will bring it soon by this year end the cs version as they have got a lot of feed back in this expo itself as it has not been started it is a showstopper. No doubts about it.

400SS looks too much aggressive due to detailing
Too much stickering also adds to the overdone front end..

I think it will look subtle in black or blue shades and will take the attention off the tank area

On the other hand the 400 CS looks blunt on the rear section
Coz the last few series of pulsars have sported sharp lines matching all the way till the tail end..
The use of matt black colours near the tail section also reflects that they want that section to be neural in effect....

Is the 400CS missing coolant temperature readout...
Or does the Speedo has various modes
For a 400CC engine it should be an absolute necessity !!!

brother the vehicle is in start mode and its on 2 gear too also if u notice the rpm is also going up. I believe they crowd must be wanting to hear the sound of the machine.
well when the bike comes in hands of us then we all will be able to tell the exact point on this beast but with the looks of it the bike is cool a copy of the dugati diavel.

brother its a prototype the actual bike is yet to come out we will come to know by the end of 2014 or in mid 2015.

On a motorcycle forum, it is of utmost importance that you spell bikes' names properly. Its a Ducati Diavel.
And please don't insult BAL's effort by calling it a copy. Else all bikes are copies of each other. They have 2 wheels, a handlebar, 2 brakes and stuff like that. Its a cruiser platform and hence shares similar basics with the Diavel. One can say BAL had the Diavel as a reference in mind, but it'd stand of its own in the crowd.

Wow. Good job Bajaj! The naked 400 looks killer. Amazing ergo and design. The faired one is a bit too bulky... weird almost.

Guys any info about the current gen pulsar 220. Are they going to replace it with this 400SS or discontinue it?

The P150 & P180 is going for an overhaul any time.

agree with the spelling part

"BAL had Diavel in mind"means Diavel was it's muse ?

well thanx for the notice and correcting me for the same which I have already done. Please don't teach about the forum part, thanx. I am not insulting any company I am just saying and putting my point that they have copied the concept of ducati ok.

Check this link Pulsar CS400. While the SS400, powered by a 375-cc engine, will be launched later this year, the CS400 will be launched next year. The CS 400 is touring bike, with long handle bars.'

Not only 400cc. I think Bajaj is working on higher cc models also. The reason is that KTM cheif said that they are going to shift entire development of bikes below 800cc to pune. So these platforms will be common for both KTM and Bajaj

What is your joint development strategy with Bajaj?

We are looking to shift development of all the mid-segment bikes to the Pune-based factory owned by partner Bajaj Auto. Moving forward, all bikes with engine capacities of less than 800cc will be developed jointly by both the companies; but they will be primarily made at the Chakan facility in Pune, which is going to become a hub of global manufacturing. Bikes with capacities above 800cc will still be made in Austria. Technical teams of both the companies will work together for the joint development programme just the way it had done for three products produced till date.

The KTM chief also states that they are going to beat Japanese by 2020. While KTM chief says it in words that they will beat Japanese, the Indians (Bajaj, Hero and Mahindra) are saying through actions by displaying wonderful machines.
