Update on City riding :
Rode it to the Factory shop in the noon to get the number , 9492 ( WE have a Asteroid 9492 too
)
The heat in city area coming through the seat was a little unpleasant. To keep her cool , i need to ride at 80 + else the temp starts rising above 87 degrees which makes it uncomfortable.
While leaving I did give it a short burst in 2nd gear and the bike did a wheel spin at around 60kmph . It was a concrete road. I realsied that I need to make sure surface is grippy if I need to accelerate hard.
Rest of the ride was pretty normal. Not one person relaised it was a sbk and asked me the irritating set of questions

one of the sensible bikes around, and a practical one compared to the radically extreme insane supersports ones. Did you think about getting a CB1000R as an option?
ride safe and congrats!
Abhishek
CB1000r was out of question. I loved FZ more because of its meaty looks. Moreover while riding , fz feels much better and gives a more planted feel. Also brand wise , I wud prefer yamaha over Honda any day.
P.S. CB1000 costs 1.5L more than FZ

Awesome choice. Love the color.
The Mechanics at yamaha dealership that i take my R6 to for routine maintenance swear by the FZ1. 3 out of the 4 have FZ1s.
