As an exception, I work for an software firm. Harley owners is a diverse community and you will find all kind of guys/gals.

          • @ srisetty Thanks for the info, thats a nice top speed for indian roads, i wish harley gave an option not to put the front number plate above the gators as i feel they ruin the look of the bike from the front The indian Iron looks much higher then the US one, is the seat height similar to the local indian bikes like pulsar etc?

            Thanks..

            • @srisetty- the V&H shorty pipes look sweet on the iron, does HD void the warranty if you go for other pipes & not the s eagles?

              Thanks..

Officially the warranty would be gone. But, there are many who have done it ignoring the warranty part. BTW, V&H are too loud. Bafflers are a must for regular rides.

hmmn, thats sad, howlong is the warranty for anyways? its better to have warranty intact for harleys, not saying there are not reliable but they can't be compared to the japs in reliability..

                  Thanks..

                        • Hi I came to know from the Kochi dealership that iron will be registered as a single seater bike. So if we add pillion seats whether it will void insurance claims (if any) as the vehicle is officially a single seater? Anyone please throw light to this matter.

                              • Hey SriSetty,
This is the first time I am writing here.

Your story is absolutely amazing. I have been following your blog since day one.

I am very keen in purchasing the Superlow. Have all plans to book it. The only thing that is stopping me is that the Harley people here (Capital Harley Delhi) are refusing to give a test drive of the bike. They are saying that they do not plan to have a bike available for test drive in the near future.

Also the main reason of test drive is to check myself the ground clearance, which I'v heard is a bit of a hindrance while driving.

And sir, how is your bike doing after 1.5 years? how many kms done??
