    The brake oil leak issue is fixed now and am very happy with the response from HD dealer (Tusker). They got it the replacement parts hand shipped from plant and replaced it for free (under warranty ).

    Last weekend, I did another short ride on NH7 (towards Hyd). We faced heavy crosswinds and the bike behaved quite well considering that we were doing 120/130s.

    Next update would be when my odo reads 2000kms.

    Don't expect any free lunches with HD . First service cost is approximately 5.5K with syn oil.

    I have seen some news/rumors about Triumph coming to India. Its definitely worth checking out the competition. You might also want to check out ST7.

    Not sure about insurance on accessories. I got insurance myself. The dealer quoted 18K (ICICI) and I got for 6K with NCB transfer (Oriental).

      Sri- so Ashley is slowing adding up miles (and smiles). Also glad to know the dealer took care of the leak under warranty.

      The toolkit looks good, but where do you put saddlebags, if & when you plan to put it. On my 883 I had mounted it on the fork, just below the headlight.

        No saddlebags yet and might never have them as permanent. For small 2-3 day rides, just tie down some bag with bungee cords... Thinking of cramsters or rjays for longer rides

                Had a cool and breezy midnight ride to reach 2k on my odo.

                Here goes the timeline:

                10:20pm: Start from home
                10:47pm: Click snap of bike odo at 1999 kms
                10:49pm: Click snap of bike odo at 2000 kms
                11:10pm: Stop at Shell Yeshwantpur for full tank
                11:50pm: Arrive at CCD after Dobbaspet, lot of trucks to tackle
                00:01am: Saw some guys celebrating their friend's b'day at CCD. Beautiful moments...
                00:15am: Finished gulping my Hot Choco Frappe and started return journey
                01:03am: Reached back home

                Total distance covered: 120 kms
                Total time: 2hrs 40mins
                Riding time: 2hrs 5mins (approx)

                One learning on this ride => have a perfect fit helmet when riding at high speeds. Even a slightly shaky one would make ride annoying.

                  My odo reading doubled over a weekend ride

                  She was amazing to ride on the highways. She had no issue running with petrol from normal bunk, which for sure was adulterated. Mileage was low, but understandable

                              I did another long ride last weekend to Kanyakumari. I would be putting up the log and photos soon. In summary, she performed very nice and at the end of the ride I felt "once more"
