@Akhil: Finally its here!!! I was wondering if u would ever put it back up here again. It was one of the best threads ever...and i loved the old thread with an enormous amount of effort and info packing into it.

Im really glad that u started it again. The old thread had a wealth of info about the new bike, the entire process of buying it and getting it on the road and much much more. It was an amazing thread.

Thanks for taking the time and posting this again. Only if we could recover the old one and many as such. Nevertheless im sure this one wont be any lesser than the earlier one...

That my friend is the maximum extent of wear to the edges seen on the Michelin PP's of any official R1 in India..

I've heard this from grey market dealers but find it hard to believe. The year of manufacturing on my MT is 08, why would they sell 07 R1s?
