When you say all the reviews.. Can you objectively tell us what words were minced in the review by xBhp and PTROriginally posted by princesirohi View Postmelroyal, the scond picture, the comparison one is not readable.
guys, i wanna tell a few things-
first of all, almost all reviews are biased to some extent. some are clever enough to hide it in the twist of words, others don't have that kind of vocabulory to hide there bias. the reasons are many but mainly its financing- who is financing whom. or sporsorship- i will sponsor your few rides and you give me a nice review and also you gets exclusive support for photoshoot so your review looks awesome and you get hits or magazine sales and i get my bike sales. things like these do exist.
second - it our job as a reader to extract the truth from the review.
so there is no use in saying here that this review is biased, that review is biased.
regarding GT250R, it has some negatives and it tries to make-up for its negatives by offering you a big bike feel and big bike looks. almost all bikes have some negatives and positives. if it feels the one for you, go for it, otherwise don't.

More than keen to know as you have made a very general sweeping statement! And my association to both these brand makes it important for me to know!
Payeng has been blogging for donkey years now, people taunt him as a Bajaj fanboy and yet he had good to say about certain aspects of the bike! Shouldnt he be promoting Ninja left right and centre! For the rest I agree, but atleast dont make a sweeping statement like that!
I for one, dont follow any review particularly... But I do read parts and bits of it from a very few handfull of people (read people and not brands)!
And where are they giving you a trip to now :POriginally posted by Devilpulsarian View PostBad, people still think from a conservative approach!
Nonetheless, consider it this way...
This is the only super-sport (aping) bike available till 1000ccs in India (obviously the others are its own brothers)
The 'feel' and the attitude is way different from anything you can own at this amount.
The engine is way way refined and sorted compared to its bigger siblings.
Just do not base your thoughts on whatever experiences you had with earlier Hyosungs, this is a lot improved bike. Ride it and believe it....
But one thing, Hyosung must price it sensibly. It SHOULD not go anyway around the Ninja...
PS: Not confirmed: there might be chances that official launch MIGHT get delayed a little.
A weeks delay isnt too much! (Is this a confirmed news though)Originally posted by cooldevil26 View Postlatest news- gt250r launch delayed by a week..now it is not 7th

An intresting story of Garware-Hyosung-DSK motowheels
Source & Credit : How DSK Bought Hyosung Stake From Garware | MotorBeam - Indian Car Bike News & ReviewsNeither was Garware in the mood to sell their stake in this alliance nor was DSK in the mood to buy those when the talk started between Garware and DSK. They approached DSK with simple and clear objective in mind. Garware being new in the area of selling and servicing any product, they were facing some issues in handling the network which demanded expansion more than expectations. So they wanted DSK to open Garware Motors dealerships and provide quality service to their customer with their vast experience in the field of automobile. But DSK, busy with Toyota and Hino (commercial vehicle unit of Toyota), was not interested in taking the dealership.

Will the pricing really come down as stated below in this link?

Am i missing something cause this link doesn't mention the prices at all. But it was always expected that the GT250R would fit nicely in the price between the CBR & the baby Ninja. I just hope the fit-finish is good and DSK actually stick for a few years. I did not have a single issue with my Comet for 7 whole years until i sold it this April.Originally posted by knightfly View PostWill the pricing really come down as stated below in this link?

The only real issue i had was no A.S.S. Hyosung simply can not afford to keep switching partners like this if they really want to have some serious game plan. They need to pick the right partner and make this work. There won't be another chance if they tarnish their reputation this time.

after kinetic and garware, DSK will be the 3rd partner of hyosung in india till date. i think hyosung should realize the market potential and enter india on its own and make this as a production base just like KTM and CBR.
this way we will benifit as customers and hyosung will obviously reap benifits.
imagine all hyosung bikes made in india will be significantly lower than current prices and hyosung will be here to offer after sales support, parts, service etc. so future customer's faith/trust will increase.
Edit:--
@Satyen: i stand corrected, please read-"some of the", instead of -"almost all"
there was nothing objectionable in PTR or xbhp review. i was not speaking particularly of GT250R review, i was talking in general.
more specific things, i will PM you.Last edited by princesirohi; 06-08-2012, 04:22 PM.
