Well the situation has been resolved! Opcom restored.
It was just that I had removed main fuse for some TIG , and ECu fell back on OEM tune instead of custom build tune. I reflashed the tune and order is restored!

Completed first 500km . I think if it were to blow apart it would have by now as I tested it till 10psi and now running on 7psi.
No major trouble reported , however that Idle air control valve reprogramming did not solve the Chk engine light problem entirely!
So a little back ground , I had reprogrammed the Idle air control stepper motor to feed air to inlet manifold under closed throttle conditions. Which worked brilliantly until yesterday!
Yesterday evening I was caught in a traffic jam and a while later my motorcycle started having very high idle . around 1500rpm or so. And then few minutes later Check engine light came on. Error code was for - Loss of Idle control.
So today morning I did a little bit if digging in my tune and found that ECu tables regarding IAC valve have a table which guides the ECU to vary IAC motor position based on engine temp. However that table start from 0 *c and ends with 180*c. That was the table I had changed.

So while I was in traffic , engine temperature went beyond 180 and I have no access to control IAC motor position beyond that temp. So most probably ECU polated the values or whatever but couldn't control IDLE beyond 180.
So I would say this experiment met with limited success. Will have to think of something else from scratch!

Can't something be done to keep the engine temperature in check in such conditions. And also what if an intercooler is added to keep the inlet air temperature lower. I am asking these questions because I have very little knowledge, will be very happy if you guide me.

180-210 is pretty much normal operating temp for the engine.
Also Incoming air temp is not very high , it usually hovers below 60*C . so intercooler won't help much!

What else can be done .. Well that's the imp question rite now!

barely understand the wizardry you are doing in there,
But its something great!, Would love to hear the forced induction on a Harley
Wishing you a successful and stable build (but seems like reaching stability would cut the fun on tinkering for you tough)!

Last bit of the puzzle has been put together!
From various experiment I tried , Disabling the Adaptive control seems to have solved the High Idle problem . Apparently the Idle mechanism along with fuel trims learn from way you ride everyday.
This adaptive control let's ECU learn your usual behaviours with various features and provide best possible experience !
Just like me , most folks in the world did not know that ECU also learns how to idle the engine smoothly in all possible conditions a user is going to face !

Amongst the other experiments I tried , this has yielded the best results.
I have increased minimum engine temp for this feature to get activated to 255*c ( in other words , it will be disabled for usual riding) . Now 255 *c is not what you achieve everyday. Usual temps hover around 170-210*c .
So this has led to ECU using values punched in 180*c cell to maintain Idle above 180*c also. I have been running this for 2 days and deliberately kept engine running without moving to simulate traffic jam for 30 minutes.
Temps rose to 230*c but Idle was OK. Hovered around 1100rpm.

So now I have covered almost 700km and nothing has broken off , I am riding her everyday , she loves it. AFR is pretty consistent and no knock was detected even when temp was over 230.
All data suggests it is pretty solid case for trouble free 60-70k km. And that's what I am looking for.
Acceleration , specially in 3rd, 4th and 5th ,after 2500rpm are so brutal that on bad roads , slight changes to throttle position due to pot holes almost leaps the motorcycle and make her insane!

I guess this is one way of living the American Dream!

I declare this project a Success as no major trouble has been detected in past 700km , nothing has broken off , nothing has cooked itself and engine doesn't seems to hate the boost one bit!
I will keep logging miles at my usual pace and report if any big troubles hit me.
Also I hereby invite XBHP to officially ride India's first Turbo Charged Harley! And put forward there ride report !

I think I got lucky. I was on hunt for a car tyre for sometime now, in 215/xx/17 inch.
No online or offline shop had it available.
Then came across this seller on Amazon , not only he has newly launched CEAT Gripp 215/60/r17 but was selling on hige discount as he was stuck with only one tyre .
Let's see if I got a good deal or it turns out to be defective . 4000bucks for a tyre worth 11-12k is way too good.

I never want to shake the originally established faith , but this type of good deals force me to screw the set pattern and tread new paths always.
Just today I calculated how much did I spend on Turbo charging my ride , and I am presently surprised , it is less than 50k( I am broke anyways). Too good to be true! Anyone who rides it for a day on an open highway will happily pay me 10 times that. Of course I already had Power vision and Turbo I got for only 16k. Rest all is Home grown!

So this tyre deal has been good , lets see if the guy despatches it or backs off saying 4k was a miss print. I believe it is a misprint for sure. How can someone offer 17inch SUV tyre for 4 k??
