The AGV GP-Techs are comparable in price to the Shoei RF series. The new AGV Corsa is comparable to Arai Corsair V series in price.
The AGV K3 and K4 Evo series are much cheaper and comparable in price to the Scorpions R1100 , HJC FG series.
    My helmet is a GP-Tech.

Yes that is a friends RSV4 in the background. I havent ridden one yet. It sounds incredible even in stock form. I hear it handles really well and power delivery is very smooth and predictable. It is one of the heaviest liter bikes but masks its weight well once it starts moving. It is very small to look at though, looks like a 600 cc bike. very compact. Pillion seat is non existent. They do supply you with one, but it is probably slightly larger than a slice of bread. Maybe even smaller. It comes with all kinds of electronic rider aides like traction control etc which are the best implementation on any bike out there. So it is one heck of a package.

Funny, I still see Daytona. Yeah, the mod made a mistake when he edited my thread title, so I corrected it. Maybe he needs to edit it again.

EDIT: Okay, it spells wrong on the "superbikes and imports" page but once you click on the thread it spell correct. Funny.

In fact, i opened your thread in mobile browser and I saw Daytona. But Tapatalk STILL shows Daytone. Caching somewhere I guess.

Well let's drop it. More pics and ride report pls.

Yes you can get custom plates for an annual extra fee that you pay with your registration. Since motorcycle plates are smaller, there is a limit on how many characters you can use. But no special characters are allowed like (* % etc).

Standard version. R would be the perfect for a track enthusiasts. Apart from Ohlins suspension and Carbon Fiber trim, the R comes with a quick shifter too; I would imagine all that is over kill for mostly street riding and the odd track day once in a while. The price difference between the Standard and R in the US is about 2000$.

i completely agree with you man but 2000$ is a high diffrence between std. and R version. but i assume that those 2000$ will have a tasteful modifications on this one like you had done on your ex. (the 1) and some info of engine of rsv4 would be awesome if possible because i have a inclination towards v4s

Dude! Didn't know you were here. I've been trying to find someone in Bangalore for some decals. Posted a few weeks ago and the mods decided to move it to some other thread where it got lost. Looks like you've got some friends here, hook us up man, will probably bring us some logos when I get back

To the rest, the bike is even better looking in person, and the sound probably is one of the best stock exhaust i've heard, barring the MV.

Its a big difference, but buying all those parts separately and having them installed would cost much more than the 2000$ price difference. So if someone does intend to use it for significant # of track days and over all better suspension components, then its definitely worth getting the 675R for that extra 2000$.
Tasteful mods, shall wait for now. I just want to ride it more and more.
Not much more I can tell you about the Aprilia. Maybe once I get to ride it, I can throw some more light on it. But you can read all the technical reviews and know more about the V4 engine.
