A big congratulations mate! That is one black beauty you got there

And +1 Pratheek, I still remember those yellow R6 videos & I too was expecting a Beemer but all the reasons you gave in favour of a 600 supersport makes perfect sense.

Anyways enjoy and may you hit the 1000 mile mark soon

Fantastic brother, its a one hell sexy beauty, Daytona just feels very complete to me I can't find flaws in design and dynamics.

Many congrats to you, ride safe and keep us updated after Run-In...

first of all a big congo. to you,i was almost sure that first daytona 675 owner would be living abroad because of insane price tag, it is possibly the best supersport out there and there are some clear diffrences in indian version of same. btw sorry abt your r1, the color was the best of what i saw on r1s wish you have many miles on this one.one question i am dying to ask to any daytona triple owners that i saw some accelration videos of daytona and i heard some whistling sound at lower rpms, is it your case too? asking because i absolutely love that whistle

Big congrats for getting that bad boy.
That bike was a dream bike for me until 28th Nov 2013
I had dropped all the dreams of getting one after that, but going through your thread makes me dream about that bike again.
I can only imagine how nice that bike is, since the only thing that bike gets everywhere is praise. Do keep your thread updated like you always do

I wonder what the differences are in the Indian version? I doubt there should be any differences. Maybe cosmetically in terms of placement of reflectors etc.
Yeah the whistling sound is common to all Triumph Triple motors. Mine has it too, although you cant hear it once you get up to speed. It's probably overshadowed by the exhaust sound after certain RPMs. I like it though, quirky and unique.

P.S : I was expecting German addition to you garage though. But I like 675 more
Somehow the BMW never spoke to me. I just never developed that emotional connection with it. You all know what I mean. I am pretty sure its the most fantastic bike out there, but it just doesn't do it for me. Incidentally, when I took my Daytona for its 1st oil change, a guy dropped of his BMW S1000RR HP4 for servicing as well. Now that is the most expensive S1000RR out there. Loaded with Carbon Fiber bits, top spec Ohlins suspension, Akrapovic exhaust etc. He parked it right next to mine. It did look awesome I must say, and sounded BAD ASS.

I do hear it has been priced pretty high back home in India. Although I think the Street Triple would be a better bike for Indian roads. Much cheaper, upright riding position, pretty comfy pillion seat and more or less the same engine as the Daytona. Unless you put the two in a drag race, you wont see any difference.

yes it sure is unique sound, and yes your correct about cosmetic changes rear mudguard is ugly in my terms on indian version and there is a grab rail under the seat exactly like duke's and yes it is steeply priced. and any plans for modding for this and yes i know its too early to ask but i think there are less afternarket parts for this one. and one awesome pic there all european beauties in the U.S.A

Aftermarket parts are available, but they are pricey. Since they are mostly made by European companies where Triumphs are popular. Also, Triumphs own accessory catalog is pretty good to be honest. For now I only plan on doing the basic mods like Frame Sliders etc and maybe a Fender Eliminator. Its a pretty nice bike in stock form.

I'd love to own a Duke 390 man. I wish it was available here. I honestly think its the best Fun/Performance you can get for your money in India. I wouldn't think of all these expensive imports when a Duke 390 is within reach. Seriously.

fully agreed with you man thats why i am waiting for ktm rc 200 as 390 is out of my reach and 200 will be acquired by my brother and i dont like same things. but i think it is available i could be wrong but it is available in aus. then why not in states
also can i ask one thing as i dont know about it.
Are power wheelies scary or are they managable ?

KTM hasn't launched the 200 or the 390 in the States. There are rumors that they will, but nothing yet. Duke 690 and above are available here.
No idea about power wheelies....I hear they are difficult to manage. I have tried clutch wheelies and dint really get a hang on them. Tried them on my R6 with moderate success. Haven't tried wheelies since. I am too chicken to try em

mods can delete these post if required but do agv's fall in price range of arai, shoei or cheaper? as your helmet is one of the best i ever seen.also that is an rsv4r behind your beloved 675. did you ride that and how does a v4 stands apart than a v twin and an inline 4 please clarify
