You have to be especially careful with the pillion. If necessary, ask them to get off, clear the hump and then get them back on. And BTW, it's clear you're not abiding by the run-in procedure, not to mention riding without mirrors, with scant regard for others

Ill try going more slow over the bumps

did i say i was riding continuously at such speeds ?
i believe occasionally speed-bursts doesn't hurt as long as one isn't acceleration abruptly or hitting the rev-limiter

    and regarding the mirrors
yes i have removed them because they are pathetic and have very limited adjustment
so removed them to get a clear view of the mechanism so i can fiddle with it and get more room for adjusting the mechanism to allow more movement of the mirror
but the attachment of the mirror to the mechanism is locked and i couldn't get hold of it properly..
and i will be fixing them back today.
i didn't intend to ride without them sharath
riding without mirrors is like riding blindfolded.

Congrats on your ride, d0c. Ride safe!

Yes, the Street Triple is one helluva bike & among the sport nakeds, this makes the most sense to a country like ours - more than adequate power, good low end grunt, lesser weight, great agility & handling & wider service intervals. I've set this in mind as the prime contender for my next bike; for now, it's going to be adding miles to my Zuma!
      Live life, a quarter-mile at a time!

              the slip on costed 39k
              took 10 mins to install
its very light compared to the stock exhaust

i got the arrow map installed

earlier the bike has lost initial with just slip-on
              now after remap
              it just feels right
and the power in the mid range and top end has improved
and she splits flames during de-acceleration

waiting for the mods from the dealer side to make the bike 106bhp

                Hey Man....

Competition WeRks? I like it man. You chose to be different from the boring Arrows which every one opts. Looking at the short canister itself I can make out it would be louder than Arrows. I think couple of cosmetic mods are pending for your bike. Like Belly Pan and a Fly screen..

By anyhow do you really think that 25-27BHP is achievable, I doubt.

Bro only a slip on cant do much for performance but enhance only sound pleasure, a full system do.

And I was referring to what modification dealer can do to achieve 106BHP compare to current 79PS....

                        hey umesh
arrow's sound similar to stock exhaust with just little more bass
i didnt like arrow slip-on's at all
                        even the
                        SC PROJECT
GPM-2 and CRT slip-on's are bloody loud

i had my eyes on CW slip-on right from before itself , so went for it

and i have ordered belly pan , flyscreen and few more items
the sad part is they take 45 days at max for the parts to arrive
                        so waiting for them

heard about GPR exhausts but didnt hear any good things about them on street triple
competition werkes is a hit among many international Striple users

and regarding the bump in power
i never said i gained any bhp
                        nor attained the 106bhp

i just felt that i got my pick-up back which was similar to stock after installing slip-on
where many loose the low end grunt while going for a slip-on
so the arrow map got back the punch

                        and

the dealer is gonna make some changes to the
                        air transition box
                        and some EU spec map
                        along with arrow slip-on
which is claimed to be make around 106-110 bhp at crank

im still waiting for the parts from dealers side
to go ahead and make the bike to the original 106bhp state

Did you notice any difference in the bike since the switching of the exhaust & the air transition box mods? I'm planning to go after market myself on my Triple... Is your warranty intact? What about power difference?

Now I'm running on arrow exhaust and got the EU spec transition box

                            The improvement can noticed .

                                Just like that,
                                werkes slip-on is very loud

Thought to give arrow a try
                                So went for it

Arrow is very smooth and less sounding compared to the werkes

Arrow is little more louder than stock exhaust that's it
