BMWs are the Gods of Motorcycles.
Those who don't get the headlights.... it is plain simple.
Its Function Vs. Form.
With those headlights BMW says:
"I won't go for form instead of function ... just to make the bike pretty. I would make the best bike in the category even if I have to make it asymmetric. What the heck I WILL make it asymmetric so that the pretty boys hate it and BMW lovers love it more."

Just like the 2009 R1, I did not like this bike when I first saw it!
& just like the 2009 R1, it has grown on me, & I love the looks of this bike now.
Performance wise there isn't anything I need to write about, but looks wise I have no complaints.
The asymmetrical headlights that once looked ugly to me, now look gorgeous! I also love the pointed profile of the LED tail lamp.
I wonder if BMW plan to bring this down here! Though this bike is priced just marginally higher than competition, I have heard servicing costs are very high for this bike. So tough luck there.

I have seen this bike in flesh here in london.
It looks awesome even with its Winking eye! No wonder its the best bike in its class now.
BWM showroom is quite near to my place...hope I get some closer look and clicks of it.
