Indeed Misbah. For our group its purely biking and all brands & models are welcome. Besides, experienced riders always take the extra effort to make first time riders comfortable with group riding as well as constantly give them tips on safer riding and point out any mistakes they may be making. Yes, the meeting time is Friday morning between 7-8 am in summer & 8-9 am in winter.

Here below is the experience of one of the xbhp members whom I took for the ride. This was on the Z1000, but we also went for a ride on the BMW on another day.

I bought mine way back in 1999 from Dubai. Its 1996 model & had already done 2000kms then. It cost me the equivalent of SR 36,000. It now has about 35,000kms on the odo.

I was always a BMW fan. Owned one R27 since 1995. Belonged to my brother in law who imported it from UK. Being a marine Engineer I restored it myself with some parts imported from UK. Then I bought a run down R90/s and did it up. worked so well that the guy who sold it to me bought it from me again. Since I saw the BMW Montauk in 2003 I wanted to get one. Finally in 2008 I bought one in USA. This was from an advert on the net. I finally shipped it home to Mumbai with all duty and fine paid. (total 135%of declared value). Did not want any hassels from authorities when riding. So now its here and am enjoying the ride. will post pics of my bikes shortly.
Wow! Sweet! Nice to see one of the modern Beemers in India. The story of the R90 sounds interesting. Can you also post some pics of the R90 if you have any?

EDIT: Got a sneak peak on your Beemer from your profile. Looks brilliant. Please do post some more on this thread as well.

@ Jimmyd- We are eagerly waiting for more pics and some background on your cruiser.

@silver_falcon_46- Talking of vintage BMWs, couple of years back I had an opportunity to visit one of the bike museum cum showroom in Chicago and was able to sit on the following two beauties:

                  1960 Model - R26

                  1962 Model - R69

Rated by many classic bike enthusiasts as the best BMW ever built

Hey Haroon, nice pictures there man. beautiful looking R69! Man, seems like you are dwarfing the bikes, how tall are you?

These machines sound so beautiful when they come to life. There are some videos off the net from which you can figure out the engine note.

Thanks silver_falcon_46. I am not super tall, but just few microns short of 6 ft. Probably its the camera angle.

These classic bikes are the no-nonsense BMWs that will run & run & run...
Those old bikes have a deep throat sound, whereas the newer oilheads(1100) and hexhead(1200) boxers sound closer to grandma's sewing machine! My 1100RT always reminds me of my dad's old Lambretta scooter sound.

Wow, those are some gorgeous looking bikes. I am speechless.
It takes luck, money & passion to have such bikes in your collection. Had you got the R32, it would have been the crowning glory. But still its a crime that you let go the R90
