A B C MODE share your experience
its quiet amazing like having 3 bikes in 1. just like that when i select C mode the bike selects min power and low bhp.(like maybe riding a 600 or a 750 cc)Originally posted by amandeepkamboj19 View PostNice pics. Bike looks great.
Can you please write in detail about A mode feeling you got
B mode medium power and bhp.(like maybe a 1000 cc) and A mode as indercool said full race mode and full bhp.
A mode was a bit scary (for me) initially cause i did not expect the bike just to shoot of like a bullet.
so C mode for city ; B mode for maybe wet roads ; A mode for open dry straight roads...thats for me ..
anyone with BUSA ABC mode riding please share your experience

Nothing 'difficult' about managing in city conditions there in 'A' mode Inder. The mind and limbs learn pretty fast. Muscles grade action accordingly. Yes, exiting turns under power in lower gears in the wet or with gravel will create problems. But dry and clean tarmac is just fine in any mode.Originally posted by inder.cool View PostA Mode is the full racing mode..where the engine revs at its peak and the bike is very difficult to manage in the city conditions..

To avoid being frightened, just keep a very gentle hand for the first two gears. Our traffic and roads don't allow quick inertia build up. Something will surprise you for sure and hitting it becomes a distinct possibility as braking while accelerating is all the more difficult.
'C' mode would be the best for wet roads. Though 'B' mode ends up being the most comfortable for urban and semi-urban conditions

On Thane Belapur Road Near Airoli Shell Pump is available...Originally posted by Streetfighter View PostShell??? Do we have Shell in India? I haven't seen one in Mumbai.
So Power is 87!!! They are boosting octane ratings with additives? Is that the correct method?
Anyway, do both of you have some proof about this? I haven't been able to find anything in written word from any of these Oil companies. In the UK their octane rating is based on RON, I believe here it is different.
By the by, I almost always use 97 (WHITE) in my bike. Only in case of emergencies I use the others.

On the test ride taken by Sunny and I, we never changed the mode from A even on the toughest of inclines and descents, bends or straights and managed pretty well. Sunny's logic was that there is no Mode selection on R1! and I went along with that..Originally posted by doktor View Postanyone with BUSA ABC mode riding please share your experience
OF is right, the body and limbs and reaction times adjust and we never felt uncomfortable in any scenario.
Sunny could probably throw more light.Life is like riding a bike. It is impossible to maintain your balance while standing still.

Very true..but i just mentioned it bcoz the 'C' mode is best suited for city conditions as the power is comparatively lesser.Originally posted by Old Fox View PostNothing 'difficult' about managing in city conditions there in 'A' mode Inder. Where as in 'A' mode one has to be very sure of how much to open up the throttle and in which gear..if this doesnt sync then you may end up bashing the person in front of you..
+1..exactly my thoughts..Originally posted by Old Fox View Post'C' mode would be the best for wet roads. Though 'B' mode ends up being the most comfortable for urban and semi-urban conditions
