Sorry but I just can't digest this update since I hadn't read it anywhere else.. Can you please confirm it that they sells 09 R1 officially?

You hit the nail right on the head with that!

Unless you want a bike for the track or ride mostly in the ghats/mountains, the CB100R (FZ1s etc) are a lot easier to ride in Indian road conditions, compared to the supersport bikes.

Lots of credit to the supersport bike riders in India; it is not an easy thing.

        • josh ,post in what bike thread...

also the reason you sold off the gixxer was mainly the legal hassles...so if you looking at cbr 600 or the R6 ,where would you get the easy availabilty of legal bikes in the 600 cc range

Hey Josh, just close ur eyes and choose any one of them man and u know each are unique in their own way!! U have had litre class bikes before, why don't u try 600's?? They are pretty much faster and crispier in response than litre class, this just came from reading and no personal experience and sorry if i'm wrong. But whatever it is do bring down to coimbatore and the next G2G with the same gang can be arranged!! What say?

Excuse me, I thought you wanted a clean (papers) bike? Are the R6 and 600RR clean?

                • @dual disc... yeah dude that is exactly what i had in mind.. lets see what works out.

@ streetfighter.. the R6 is a TR and the CBR is a full duty.. so no worries just trying to take a test ride and a few opinions before finalizing.

@ fireblah.. the cbr is top list on my mind

thanks for the info dude... but somehow i'm not much inclined towards the R1 may be because of its power delivery or handling factor... but my choices are still open.

                          • hondas are known for their engines and build quality and i personally prefer a honda but there is one major hitch and that is that the CBR 1000 which i have seen is not clean and at the same time done around 12 k kms.. there are a lot of after market accessories also put which i feel are there may be because the bike has been through a crash.. THE HUNT IS ON and am hoping to get some great bike real soon.

                            • dont go in for a grey bike(that is why u sold ur gixxer)

the safe bet here will be a 600rr cause its quite relaxed compard to r6 which is the most track based bike after the ducatis

                              • yeah ashes you are right.. but somehow the R6 seems to be more attractive and a screamer compared to the CBR 600 RR.. am so damn confused now.
