correct me if i am wrong but i did read in overdrive once that K5 gixxer was the best gixxer(even better than some of the current litre class bikes) for its rush of power(the engine was not detuned in any sort cause back then the emmision rules were not that strict)
and k6 should have the same engine and setup cause every litre class or supersport(600cc) bike is overhauled after a period of 2 years
so he has made the best buy(k5 was even known to outrun k9 gixxer)sigpic

@ ashes... thnx a lot mate... actually the k5 & k6 both have the same engine and whatever u have said it totally true.... the k6 gixxer can sure outrun many new litre class bikes.Comment

@ABHISHEK... thnx bro... yes the k6 is sure the best Gixxer so far and the one in for sale in the Ad is the one i own... am a big freak and passionate about superbikes so keep changing them frequently so that i get to ride many SBKs. I shelled out 6.5 for this one and will sell it for the same price cos am not selling it to make money.. am getting a R1 pretty soon.Comment
