My point is, if the CDI is better with the stock coil, its only the best with the RDD coil. Nope the cdi behaves almost the same with stock as well as 90/110 kit the reason it is recommended over stock is because most 0f the coils in these bikes will be old or rewinded hence may not be reliable also the 90/100 kit has slots drilled on the back plate allowing you to adjust the timing ,while onthe stock plate there is no such provision, also it provides much better illumination

Plus, you get a coil which is lighter than the stock and an amazing light output to lightup your street. wrong the 90/100 coil is heavier than the stock ,however it is the magnetic drum that is supplied with kit that is lighter than stock hence helps the engine to rev up slightly faster, the reason why people do not go for these imo are due to cost considerations the stock ones cost 3k while 90/100 costs 5.5k besides most people prefer riding in daytime
dont worry manarcane rdd is bringing out analogue cdi for the same price as the oem cdi so start saving up to buy one (it costs 700/-) if u dont have a digital one already

KB - Probably you didn't understand my sarcacism!!! Go through my previous 3-4 posts & you'll know why I made that comment.

PS - The stator of RDD is not heavier!!! I've both of them on my Rx, installed all by myself & never visited a garage.

I would also like to put one. Any idea, how much would it cost?

[QUOTE=SriramEfunds;530575]That will be great if you could let know if it is available.

I think you will need to change the T-stem/suspension/fork bottom and even some mods to the wheel hub. Remember RTR wheel is slightly smaller. Do let us know what's have you decided.

^^- I've heard, the Pulsar disc assembly is a direct fit. No need to get the T-Stem. Please correct me if I'm wrong.

Gladiator setup is a direct fit and costs Rs. 6000/- brand new from Yamaha(fitting cost extra).

Its a direct fit to Rx series. No need to modify anything.

Also got hold of one 4S & 5S cylinder-piston Kit from YASS.

I will be stripping the bike in a weeks time. May take a month to complete the task considering I do not have the required tools)

                      Hi Manarcane,

is your rx 135 last model?(small cat con?) meter set will not match with center lock you have posted. rxz ignition cum center lock has diffrent mount point(under handle bar holder)

centerlock what you have posted should be mounted on the head light cowl (rod type) which has seperate mount plate.

                        Hi Vijay,
No, mine is the 2000 model. And you are right, I can't mount this directly. But the previous owner has already made a provision for fixing a central lock. I currently have a center lock (square type from the RXZ). But I liked the round type which gives a good contrast with the rectangular speedo, tacho & pivot meters.

                        Thanks for pointing this out.

^ going for RXZ lock set is more appropriate to give a completeness.
