Mane auto garage. It is walking distance from that main bus station in Pune (Shirwal I think). The guy had like a dozen Yezdi bikes of different models including the rare 350 cc.

Don't know if the number is still working: 02024485765

                    Hey Srini,

Thanks. Thats my '93 Roadking. Rear shock is stock, I just removed the shock cover and got the spring chromed for that 'springy' look. As the '56 advert went, it's the finest daily rendezvous indeed.

                    • Looking to acquire a Jawa - Help please!

                      Hi there!

To start off, i learnt to ride on a Yezdi Road King, and that bond has been nourished ever since then. I've had two enfields (a std 350 1982, and an AVL 350 Machismo 1994). I also bought a Jawa about two years ago, but had to sell it off within a short period as my family went into serious financial trouble, actually sold off all three at that time! Now i loved the Jawa for it's simple design, both internally and externally, not to mention the bliss of the exhaust note! I now have serious plans of getting a Jawa again, however, when randomly checking through OLX and the likes, the prices quoted seem to be exorbitant! Any help/pointers will be really appreciated! I'm also not as technically sound with a Jawa as i'd like to be, since my time with her was a very short one.

A picture of the lost beauty...

                        Hi,

Buying a jawa is not expensive, you will not get something for 40K too. Thanks to the middlemen who still play around the prices, and make sure they rip apart both the buyer and seller.

But if you are desporately looking to buy, let me know. I will point you, you have to buy soon, else it will be sold

                            Hi guys
I have been quoted 20k for yezdi deluxe. Bike has just 8k on the odo. Not in running condition. Though engine has not been opened. Owner is from the same locality. Should i go for it? Anything to look out for
                            Thanks

                                Thanks Srini
Papers are in order. Tax has to be paid and fitness certificate has to be obtained. He has even got the owners manual, thats what he says and a few spares.
Was wondering it would start. Or else have to put in the jeep and bring it home. Does this yezdi deluxe have a cdi ignition or cb point? Its a 89 model. Is the battery required to start?
                                Thanks
