    Hey Auto,

I have fitted not 17, but 18 inches tyres on my deluxe.
I havent changed the fork atall.
Its not a straight fit, First i had to buy a longer stay( stay of a monarch or a Y350)
Then alter a bit of the rear mudguard, so that it doesnt touch the tyre.
Stand had to heightened a bit.
    Thats it.

    Adv:
    1. Seating is better
    2. Turning is amazing
    3. Overall ride is better

    Disadv:
Speedo error -> Need to re-calibrate the speedo.

      Hi, Srini,

Thanks for the quick reply, I am planning for the FZ/Pulsar front end assembly, and the Rear would be(not yet decided) but maybe a pulsars.
I am looking for a Tubeless tire set, As now I am addicted to them, and am always blindly able to rely on them.

Dont want to push the Yezdi, its a real pain. and I am planning to use it for touring.

I have a Honda Dazzler as a Everyday option, even for Tours its the best one, I am no Speed freak.
So a mild ride in the 80s and 90s is much suited for me and the Honda aswell fore its all round performance.

      Thanks Again.

      Cheers!

      Auto.

An uncle opposite to my hometown when I was studying in school had it. whenever he comes we rush to the gate to hear that sound from two exhaust pipes kind of Tut tut tut trut tut sound lol. It was very distinct and funny, because I was used to know only my dad's splendor which has only 1 exhaust. It was a silver color classic yezdi

The Yezdi am working on right now.
                  Classic.
i prefer to give it a charachter reather than going for a complete restoration.

Hello experts, Could you kindly suggest me between used Bullet Electra or Standard Vs used Yezdi Roadking or Deluxe.

I am getting them in around 40k ok running condition , first owner. I will be using bike 1-2 times in a week. Basically visit friends nearby. I live in Delhi.
Most people loves Bullet. But I am incline towards Yezdi, I don't know why. Even I have not driven it once.

Bikes I owned in past driven CBZ, Activa, Karizma, Pulsar 150 .

                    Thanks.

Riding an Yezdi for the firs time is okay, but what i would strongly tell you is that buy an yezdi only if you are serious and really looking forward for it.

Its not as as easy as it looks. Its lovely to ride, but to bring it to that state, you will have to do such amount of work. Getting spares is not easy and cheap. you have to deal with a lot of people, get it down with mechanics, and do the required mods.

Think before you do it. Bullet would be partially easy, as there are company service stations, you can push it in for a service and the bike would be good. easy to maintain.

Yes you are 100% correct. I am only concern about spare parts only. I have good mechanic who is known to me. I will post my updates here.

                                Hi Pro,

If you think the price is on the higher side, then you are not updated. Bikes are not costly as 1 Lakh, i know thats not the value of the bike, but since its in the demand, and vintage status middle men want to make some easy and quick money playing with our passion.

Go ahead. BTW when iwas in delhi in March i saw a Yezdi parked just opposite to the aangan on karol bagh, check that one if possible. but it was in an abandoned state, might be cheaper. Its a Cl2 with split seats and slight mod.
