Also recently I came to know that the crank assembly for 4 speed and 5 speed are different too along with CDI, Magneto Assembly.

But the part numbers are different.Originally posted by dual disc 200 View PostNo, No and No. It's all the same. Someone is misguiding
RX 135 5 speed Crank is 2YAE14000900 and 135 4 speed part number is 2YAXE1400000. (I stand corrected, 5 speed head part number is superseded to that of 4 speed-Both are same). CDI, Manet assembly is different though.
RX 135 4 speed Cylinder is 4TLE13110000 and 135 5 speed is 4TLE13111000,
RX 135 4 speed Head is 4TLE11111000 and 5 speed is 4TLE11112000.
It's all confusing and I thought about converting mine to 5 speed.Last edited by Chemico; 10-18-2018, 11:07 PM.

Re: Differences & Similarities between 135cc RX series
The crank assy is the same as that 4s and 5S even though the part nos. Are different. The only different crank in the RX family is that of 100. The magnet assy if you want to know any performance related differences, then it's nothing. It's just a design and spec of 2 pole vs 4 pole magnet setup's. Again about the CDI, we've done enough researches and found there is absolutely no difference in the CDI although few claim to be. Coming to the head, the 5s head is different from that of the 4s because of a higher squish which translates to a higher compression levels in 5s compared to 4s.Originally posted by scudmissile007 View PostYes those two also, missed that.
Hope this helps.Whenever there is a Rainbow in the sky, I know it's u mastering the art of Cornering. U will always be remembered brother, R.I.P Arun.

Re: Differences & Similarities between 135cc RX series
So, we can just change to 5 gears and get a 5 speed head is that it? Can you also share something about Rxk short gear ratio gear boxes too? How different are they to the indian version gear boxes?Originally posted by dual disc 200 View PostThe crank assy is the same as that 4s and 5S even though the part nos. Are different. Re: Differences & Similarities between 135cc RX series
Partly Yes, you would also need a 5s carb which is the same 22mm but has an Oval venturi compared to the round ones on the 4s. The 5s carb also has a higher venturi velocity than the 4s by nature of its design.Originally posted by Chemico View PostSo, we can just change to 5 gears and get a 5 speed head is that it? The RXK gearbox is a close ratio box meaning the gearing ratios are shorter than the normal. The difference isn't massive as the gear ratios are different only on the first two cogs whereas the remaining 3 is the same as the 5S box.
I had used the RXK GB and quite didn't like it as it doesn't like the Indian engine set-up's.Whenever there is a Rainbow in the sky, I know it's u mastering the art of Cornering. U will always be remembered brother, R.I.P Arun.

Re: Differences & Similarities between 135cc RX series
What's the capacity of rxz fuel tank??
Recently I filled to the brim after it came to reserve, 11.5ltr went in.
So the tank capacity is 12+ ltr??
I filled it in a trusted bunk where I fill regularly. There is no doubt on the qty.

Re: Differences & Similarities between 135cc RX series
I converted mine to 5 speed, the first four same, the fifth gear makes speeds above 50 kmph smooth, but is really bad below that, the bike seems to struggle to pull.Originally posted by gvshan View PostI would like to change 5gear box, for my rx100, it advisable? Re: Differences & Similarities between 135cc RX series
Hi guys,
Me and my friend working his rx100(bought 2 months ago). it has been kept at backyard for long time approx(3 years). now we are trying to start the engine,
i flushed the tank, cleaned carb, new spark plug, changed gearbox oil, new air filter. when i try to start it again there is no response, then i removed the spark plug and when i try to start it there is very low indication of spark.
so i opened the magnet and coil i was shocked to see that it has rx135 coil and cdi, the wiring has been altered to accommodate that. i think the magnet belongs to rx100.
so my friend sourced rx100 coil(some local make), new wiring harness and when we try to install the coil & magnet, the magnet inner side has touched some portion of coil.
so he grinded the points which touches the magnet but again there is very low spark from spark plug.
i want the wiring to be stock:
1.now what are the options we have?
2.why doesn't the new coil work( may be due to grinding)?
when it comes to electrical, i am a loser
