The point is, try staying away if you need to enjoy your ride, otherwise, sweat, bleed & enjoy the immense satisfaction it gives. This is all I got to say.

One example I'd say is, I've been searching for a VM22 carb for over 2 weeks now & till now there're lots of PMs on the offer but none of them are costing less than a hefty amount. I think the box piece doesn't cost so much & there're so much margins ppl are adding because of parts scarcity. So keep in mind about all these things before you buy.
    thanks for reply,
I am not going to make this as a high performance machine with lot of modification like porting, jetting, over bore, alloys etc.etc.,it will be used by me for couple of weeks per year and my budget is also tight so i want to restore it to a extent of medium performer.give me some more suggestions.
    thank you

Check the body panels for cracks and the fuel tank for leaks, especially near the rear end as its a chronic problem with RXZ fuel tanks. If they are all in good condition surely repaint them. But if not go for new ones

Any idea how the FZ handle would look on the RXZ?? Planning to fit the same.

Also, the mechanic completely refused to install the Bajaj dual spring shockers saying that the setting would be different. But I've seen them working magically in many of the yamahas .

Another thing would be, how would the thunderbird light look on the Z. I'm not much inclined towards the regular rectangular light.

This is why I do not take my Rx to mechanics

Its a direct fit & you'll love the setup for a soft suspension (position 1) & for pillion need to set at position 5.

PS - I've the same setup for more than a year now!!!
