^ Depends upon from where you buy it. B'lore & urban Kerala (from what I read on forums) are expensive.

Still 7k for an RX! Unbelievable I would say.

In the rural areas of uttar pradesh you will find the 2 stroke yamaha at a throw away price.I have done two deals for 5 speed rx135 for Rs 15000 and 13000 the bike was in very good conditions but deal was cancelled due to the behaviour of mechanick(broker),he wants to make more mony from both ends.finally the bike has been sold to another persons for 9000 only.
by the for the bike i bought,i have delt directly with the seller.I am uploading the picture of bike.Sorry for bad quality photo(taken with a cheap mobile cam),will update after some time.
I have some question regarding parts availibiltiy and substitutes.I know that parts are rare.I want to know that which are the parts that can be replaced with other brands of bikes like HH ,which are easlily available.
Starting with the Speedo cable, worm gear can anybody suggest substitute parts from other brand of motorcycle.

currently my bike is giving me a fuel average of 25km/l.According to the mechanic only piston and rings to be changed.I am insitsing for full engine overhaul but my mehcanic is telling that because there no noise from engine so no need to overhaul full engine only piston & rings to be changed. What will be fuel average of good condition rx135 with sedate driving ?

yes dear,It is so profitable that i am seriously thinking for starting a business (buy it for 7-10k in up and sell it for 20-25 at bangalore).Since i visit quarterly to up i think i can manage it.
Just a joke.I dont have too much time to searh a vehicle there and get all papers including noc, book it to train and again search a buyer in bangalore.

From where did you buy the bike? 7K seems unbelievable to me.

I belong to western UP and trust me only thing people want from bikes here is average.
There is no resale value for performance bikes. I sold my sep 2006 model karizma for 35 k (it had done 26 thousand kilometers only). You will get 25-35k for your old splendour/platina etc. but not for these bikes

RX100,RX135,Yezdi,Rajdoot etc. are available in the range of 5-15 k INR here in north india (western UP/NCR/Delhi).
I recently bought bullet electra in mint condition (2008 CI model with ES and disk brakes hardly done 18k kms) for 65 k and people are telling me k "Bahut mehngi Li hai".

Its a great demand for RXs in Kerala ...Even for a almost dead bike people are quoting the prices around 15- 17.

                          RX100 s - 22k - 28k (Japan RX100s seen prices upto 35k, but the ones fitted with Non-OE parts)

                          RX135 4speed - 30k - 40k

RX135 5 speed and RXZ - A very risky Job to ask the owner for the bike

I'm in search for a Yezdi RoadKing. Its not compulsory that the bike should be in good looks and cosmetics. The price range should be within 10k. Any chance???

Currently there are 3 rxz 4s in my area which are ready to sold.If i offer 10k for them they will give at once surely (i have quoted 8k but they want something near 10k) But it is so sad to say that due to my job i dont have time to purchase and clear all papers and import them to bangalore otherwise.........................
