There is no resale value for performance bikes. I sold my sep 2006 model karizma for 35 k (it had done 26 thousand kilometers only). You will get 25-35k for your old splendour/platina etc. but not for these bikes
RX100,RX135,Yezdi,Rajdoot etc. are available in the range of 5-15 k INR here in north india (western UP/NCR/Delhi).
I recently bought bullet electra in mint condition (2008 CI model with ES and disk brakes hardly done 18k kms) for 65 k and people are telling me k "Bahut mehngi Li hai".
Hey Amardeep,
M Ravi from delhi, m looking for RXZ 5Speed in Delhi/NCR, UP-west. Pls. let me know if you find any one selling it or any vehicle lying as dump.

1. Keep your eyes open to your model, suddenly you will see lot of them on roads/parked at neighbor's home/sprinkled at mechanic shops etc. Try to talk to their owners, they might help in finding one.
2. Be good friend of your mechanic.
3. Do search yourself in nearby cities and towns like ghaziabad/gurgaon/faridabad/pilakhuwa etc.
Here in Gurgaon there are 2,3 areas like gaushala market and bheem nagar to search for.
Being a majdoor in software company It is difficult for me to help you
in search.

Go for complete engine rebuild if you intend to keep your bike for a long long time.Originally posted by sudhir kumar View PostPlease suggest me that what will be better for me..complete rebuild of engine or only changing ring, piston, sleeve(as told by mechanic)..
Stay away from sleeving. They are good for racing purpose (use & throw), but not for daily commuting.
There is no single parts dealer (YASS or otherwise) who will give you all engine related spares & cosmetic stuffs for any RX series. If you are looking for local or non-OE spares, then try JC road, it is filled with crap.Originally posted by sudhir kumar View PostSince i am visiting my hometown in December ,i want it to be ready for riding.also suggest me the original part dealer in bangalore and approx cost of piston, rings, sleeve set .
