    • to vintageguru,
Thank for suggestions bro ,I have already bought it.The bike in your pic is rajdoot.I have used this bike for short time (my friend's father had it).It was bought perhaps in last70's or early 80's.It was a fun to ride but quite difficult to handle (due to its bad condition),sold last year for 3-4 thousands. My family is a joint familiy so i have tasted a lot of two wheelers from tvs champ to rajdoots.Currently i have two max100's from tvs ,one this rx135 and some 4strokers.Now only rd is remainingand my mind is preparing itself to own it.There is one rd in my area, rusting with a mechanic,I will enquire him that can he restore it (perhaps impossible, last time when i saw it ,was lying outside and both heads were not there).

                • Sudhir:- Could you please share why you posted the pics. What experiment were you doing with the bike? My thoughts are running wild. Hope the oxes will not be replaced, correct?

I have spent last 2 full weeks with this rx thats why i have posted pics.Earlier to this ,bike was not in this condition,i have done a lot of work my self to correct it looks and performance. You can check its older pics in same thread .I have installed rear half steel mudgaurd, Tail light plate, tail light assembly with self made led lights.etc.Please see carefully the pics and point out differences and new installation then i will explain it one by one.By the way please comment on this beauty.

Thanks for appritiation..Actualy that huge cap is not required (27000mf/75volts),i used it because it is spare with me.Instead of installing battery (because i use this bike once in 3-4 months) u can use a large cap()say 4700mf/35volt X 3,all your dc equipments will work with this but only on engine started position
                          thanks.

                          • work done

1.I have cleaned the chasis by removing the tank.
2.Covered the ripped wiring with insulation tape.
3.Removed some additional electricals installed by previous owner.
4.Made stock horn working by some additional wiring.
5.Installed one diy led headlamp(wide spread focus).
                            6.Installed diy led tail lamp.
7.Bleeded and adjusted oil pump because there was no 2t left in tank accidently and my bike was consuming too much 2t.(consumed nearly 250ml with 6 lt.of petrol).thans to xbhp for this since i learnt this method by this forum.
8.Rear shock covers are made short by cutting on lethe (just for cosmetic purpose).
9.See the older photos of seat cover.there is red lining on it which doesnt looks nice,so removed it by stripping carefully.
10.Installed one large electrolytic capacitor in place of battery.
11.When i bought this bike there is no rear chrome mudgaurd, tail light plate etc.these items are reinstalled.
                            12.some simple sticker work.
13.Proper cleaning and polishing of bike.
in next post i will provide info about the performances of this bike as observed by me.
                            thanks

Interesting result? Loosing Back Pressure on a Cat-Con which is designed almost like an integral expansion chamber to have an required amount of Back pressure to run efficiently at lower rpm's gives you interesting results? I'm very interested to know.

How is the bike running now? As the theory & my experience goes, The loss of 'Back Pressure' in the system will affect the effective 'Scavenging' of the exhaust fumes & will make the bike run crappy.
