Methinks u need to be looking at the 'buying an RD' sticky a little more closely. This has already been discussed a lot. For the record an LT makes more power in the lower RPMs and is better in the city. However, it is a torque bomb and u have to be careful in the wet with an LT. A little too much throttle can send the tail into a spin and unless u are Rossi, u will definitely kiss tarmac. However, the engine will refuse to rev out and the power (although it comes in early) is a little less vicious as compared to the HT. (Kinda like comparing the RX135 5 speed with RX135 4 speed.)

i guess u meant to ask how much. You got that typo in thrice!! If you are asking about price difference, u need to be stating your location so folks in your vicinity can help.

Pardon me, but is everyone buying the RD or are u?

If you read this thread carefully, Hippie says above,
"UP and delhi police drove some new HTs till as late as 89, thats all."

If i decoded that right, u wanna know why they were switching to LT barrels. Did u ask them? Unto each his own. If I had an LT, I would switch the barrels gladly for a HT. My previous post said something about what the difference between the two was like.

Dont take offense dude!! And pardon the slightly sharp answers but I think i am in an devilish mood today. Was enjoying reading about people being blown away by their RD rides and along comes a "who much is the diifference" question

P.S. : On a similar note, "Al dis stylish non-grammatical (Jamaican?)english n da unnecessary shortenings r nice 2 c in an SMS, but dey only mek it tuffa 2 get da point in a post n sets da reader on da edge." Teeheehee! (Boy!! That was taxing!)

Wish people would take some time out to type in their questions / statements properly in posts and read it once before posting. Would make it easier on poor sods like me. Doubt it costs you anything extra to use straight english. The funny english is nothing to be proud of, if you ask me.

I very recently got to ride of my galfriend's dad's bike. Phew....mind boggoling acceleration man. I actually underestimated the capacity of that machine. The engines were re-bored and the whole bike was in a damn good condition. But her dad warned me that the stern of the bike is too light and that it needs some1 on the rear to stabilize it. So i took her along. In Chennai ECR is the best roads to test ur bikes. I went there and vvrrrrrrooooommmmmmmmmm.......... It touched 140kmph. My helmet does'nt have the viser. My eyes started to water like anything. My pillion was shouting me to slow down but i was so much interested in speeding up that i cud not hear her shout. After that ride i had to go home in P180dts-i. I was pushin my bike to the limits. From that day i did not wanna ride that bike cuz it made me feel that my bike was inferior. But still once in 2 months i take it to some far off place with my gal. But i wont ride fast.. hee....hee...

WEll a ride on RD 350 is all that one needs. I am sure I will never find any other indian bike with such a wonderful ride and performance... It just needs a little throttle and see it roar like Grrrrhh... nd it just Vrooooms past like anythin.

well man its pretty easy if u have ridden both of them ,then u also have the maniac ones ,but on a stock lt to ht ,its the time needed to get to orgasm ,generally on a LT its a quicke ,it starets soon and ends soon ,but in a HT ,its a bit slow in pickin up and the band goes on and on ,u wud need to rev it lil more that the LT to reach the band and get the boost ,each is fun in its own way, depends on whether u like a quickie or a slow and long one ..........hope that clears :-)
