HEY RAJNISH I KNOW U R THE GURU IN THIS SO PLEASE HELP.
read alot of on LT & HT rd's but still i am unaware of how to identify LT from HT. from my ride below can u tell me which bike i may have ridden.

It pulled 1st very hard, 2nd was seeing 80, 3rd was ahead of 110, 4th was 130, 5th was 140+ before i was out of road to put the 6th. all this was done in under 15 seconds. so which one could this be. i really did not go to see the rpm counter as my eyes were more to the speedo reading. ur help pls. thanks

btw its 88 model, 56K+ odo

LOL hard to say,HT was not made in 88,was it a police bike?LT tops at 140 for a very good bike, with error in speedo you can go to 150-155.Has to be LT,it pulls real hard from low rpm.
              \'87 High Torque RD 350B
in first gear,6000 rpm, whack the throttle.

Hi rajnish thanks for the info. anyway i wont mind if it is LT or HT as i am really happy with the performance. dont know what u meant by police bike but this person is the first owner and i know him.
as i am planning to buy his bike 1) do i have to check the barrels for sleeving 2) how do i check them i mean do i take it to some mechanic or can i do it myself as i read this in ur column "buying used RD".
                thanks
