IT WAS SUCH AN EXHILARATING EXPERIENCE

THAT WAS WHEN I DECIDED THAT I GOT TO HAVE THAT BIKE
BUT THEN I HEARD IT S NOT MANUFACTRED ANYMORE
WAS VERY DISAPPOINTED (FELT THESE YAMAHA GUYS ARE REAL FOOLS)

CAN ANY BODY GIMME SOME INFO ABT THIS BIKE AS TO WHEN IT'S MANUFACTURING WAS STOPPED AND Y

ALSO IF POSSIBLE ANY HELP ON BUYING A SECOND HAND RD-350

          THANX IN ADVANCE

Everyone crashes. Some get back on. Some don\'t. Some can\'t.

              rode an rd y'day..
              my 1st ride..
              was scared..
started it and revved it..the needle went to the redline faster than v can say it..its true..
then put 1st..started slow..and then pulled the throttle....
whhhhhhhhhhhhhheeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee the bike was pullin away from me..i started slidin backwards and was hangin on to the handlebars 4 my dear life..put it in 2nd and the same experience,,
me t friend of mine..he sat behind..
to show hi the power..revved it..bike lifted a little and then when back on the ground started runnin away...
dats when i realise he no longer is behind me..hehehehehe..he fell down..
went back to him.. n then i realised i was in 2nd...even when he sat..wot if it was 2nd..
              rode for like 5 mins..redlinin in 1st n 2nd(the road was short)..
went back 2 the garage from where i toook the bike( i was eyeing it 4 a long time)..
              asked him the price..
              he said 18..too much..
              10 is wot i am ready to pay..but hell..what a bike..
              acc was explosive...power is awesome..

18k, if the papers are clean and bike running in decent condition, ask them to let you inspect the barrels and if they are ok, go for it dude, 18k is peanuts..

needs bit of trained eye, actually it's not hard to find, have to see a sleeved and non sleeved barrels once, can find out.most jobs r anyways bad,so can be spotted.

remove barells, look at the bottom, in a sleeved barell.. u can see the sleeve over the std/original liner

never even thought of RD as a speedster. When i was planning to buy a RD went with my friend for a test ride. I just remember that we fell down. I remember the bikes number also (ABL 7767)The bike did a wheelie when he raced it and his leg got fractured. Because of the crash guard the bike did not even have a single scratch. Then I decided I would buy it for sure. Got a 1985 HT as scrap and then built it. It is an awesome bike. love it lots.
