VKJ3 The major cause for switching to an rx100 is my die hard love for 2 strokes, and also my budget is a bit too low😅. Rx100 ticks both the criteria, hence this. Btw, I did go to check out the bike in Manjapra. The owner turned out to be a grandpa sharing my passion for 2 strokes. We talked for an hour or so about this bike and AFAIK, or understood, it's a pretty decent bike. No major problems. I took it for a spin and it was pretty responsive and the gearbox is in good condition too. I just read your post, but I think I'll go and check out whatever you said again. Thanks man!

Re: Random Questions regarding the RX series
This one is a 93 model. Not Japan then😥. But the bike runs smooth. Also no problems with the chassis. I still have no idea how to check for bore and cylinder without removing the block head! This owner showed me something crazy actually. He kept his foot on the exhaust and completely closed it, then he started revving the engine and gave me a grin. Like as of that was supposed to be something great. Idk what he meant, and I didn't ask at all... Does anyone know what he was trying to say?Originally posted by Rahul Ramesh View PostI think 35k for an rx100 is little high. First you should check for bore and engine sound. Secondly , check for oil leaks. Also check for chassis and fork for bends. If it is below '92 , well u can actually go for it as it is a japan engine.

Haha no idea Nairetto. There is no other way that you can check the bore, unless you remove the head. You got that right.Originally posted by Nairettan View PostThis one is a 93 model. Re: Random Questions regarding the RX series
The chain RX runs on doesn't come with a Oring, the ones used on bikes with no chain cover thus keeping them off from getting dirty quick, keeps it lubed and lasting long. Rx doesn't gave that type of chain so was hoping if one can or cannot get those running on our Yamahas.Originally posted by Nairettan View PostI don't get you!Code:https://www.instagram.com/ankit_himalayas/

Ankitvile ,Idk about that, but I'm a person who believes that with a bit of skill and patience, you can get jugaad easily. 😇. I'm not sure here, but what can be the problem? As long as the chain is fixed on the teeth, you can adjust it easily, right?

Re: Random Questions regarding the RX series
Seriously yess. How hard could that be if one is so inclined. Was hoping I'll bump into someone here with some exo in that anyways I'll get in touch with the mechanics & see what shapes out.Originally posted by Nairettan View PostAnkitvile ,Idk about that, but I'm a person who believes that with a bit of skill and patience, you can get jugaad easily. 😇. Re: Random Questions regarding the RX series
If u don't weigh too much. RX 100. If u are anything above 70 kgs opt for the RX 135.Originally posted by Rahul Ramesh View PostFellow Bhpians, which Rx series is best for you and why? Most motorcycle problems are caused by the nut that connects the handlebars to the saddle!
