It was jerking even at rich AF ratio, now the magnitude got raisedOriginally posted by kusmaker View PostBike jerking may be due to lean tuning.

As of now, it's running fine except for the jerk issue. Starts with a single kick even during early morning or left untouched for a couple of days.
Will add more snaps tonight.

The same problem occured in my max 100 r ...a year ago at any tuning state but if i press a choke lever a lil bit then the problem disappears...dont know whats the actual problem...!!
Imo blowing some high pressure air through the carb passages may be helpful.
Btw if you find a pinpoint solution then plz update here...!!

I have also faced this jerking issue in my bike for no reason, no matter where i tuned the carburettor the bike was jerking in every gear , got the carburettor cleaned twice, checked all the gaskets, found everything to be fine, i was fed up with the bike and then one day i used petrol additive while filling the petrol, and suddenly after 10kms of riding on this additive mixed petrol jerking was gone.

Btw buddy as per workshop manual centre position is standard for needle jet ....how about giving a try to set it lil bit leaner or richer side ...?

Tried all possible experiments with carburetor, but with least success. Tried fixing the primary drive and sprockets from my other RX135 and that did the magic.
No jerks now.
But I ended up having 2 bikes with similar spec (to be more specific, same spec with different outlook) Thinking of modifying one of the bike to 5s

Five speed modification seems to be good idea .
how about giving a complete mod to stock bike ie cafe racer or something , if you serious about mod.
Imo we can use some parts of splendor cafe racer with lil or no changement.

Rolled back to RXG primary ratio, with 14x34 sprockets and there was a considerable improvement in jerk issue (compared with the initial condition)Originally posted by Mr.Boss View PostTried all possible experiments with carburetor, but with least success. No jerks now.
Using a shorter silencer core reduced the jerk issue further (I couldn't understand the backpressure logic here) but considering the adverse effects rolled back to stock core.
