Tomorrow I will post my RX 100 front number plate with the monogram. In your RX threads I haven't seen any front number plate assembly like mine. I think that might work on your RXZ or you might get a different idea to keep both the plate and the monogram. Pardon me if you have already figured it out!

Re: Zeus - A story of RX-Z restoration
Yes, thats true. These guys in Bangalore will source you any parts you need and can solve any kind of bottlenecks. You said it right, they are after our bike and wallet. If you are not around, most of his dear one's or his own worn out parts goes into yours. I had a very reliable mech but now he started a Yamaha showroom and a partner of it too, good to him. One more neighborhood mechanic is good but target my wallet directly. I have done several restorations mainly mechanicals none cosmetic. The worst part is I was never able to get a good bore/cylinder. Sorry for going OT.Originally posted by SriramEfunds View Post

If you know what goes in and goes out, then shouldn't have problem to keep a check on thier work. Also, I had serviced(non showroom) my ZMA recently and should say they looked in detail and showed patience while working on the bike.Originally posted by joe_marvy View PostYes, thats true. Guess I know what you talking about (number plate), shall watchout this space for tomorrow.Tomorrow I will post my RX 100 front number plate with the monogram. Two things:-
The number plate holder - fork cups; once had the mount piece welded come off that I did not go back and fix. More over those were spot welding, and not easily found here to get the piece welded. Also, the number plate of RX100 is not suitable for RXZ as the fork cups are not the same.
Current number plate which is mounted on to the T stem had to sacrifice the monogram as they cut through all the way straight. If you understand what I mean here.
Laziness to fix as they don't pose any issues that I have to plonk the typical number plate immediately.RX100 1996 | Karizma 2004 | Karizma-R 2011 | RXZ 1999 | RX 135 1998 | RX 100 1993 | CBF150 2005 - 2011

Re: Zeus - A story of RX-Z restoration
Joe, couple of things wanted to point:-
1. RXZ fork cups are different from rx100/135.
2. This type of number plate robs the beauty and I'm planning to fabricate number plate on my own.RX100 1996 | Karizma 2004 | Karizma-R 2011 | RXZ 1999 | RX 135 1998 | RX 100 1993 | CBF150 2005 - 2011

Re: Zeus - A story of RX-Z restoration
Hey guys can anyone help me out here? I am restoring an old RX 135 and want to install a mechanical tachometer like on RX-Z. Did anyone do that? What parts do I need? If someone could point me in the right direction or give a valuable advice, I would appreciate it a lot.

I had installed the Tacho in my 5 speed 135 back in 2012.Originally posted by Krishna Gopal Das View PostHey guys can anyone help me out here? As far as I remember, to install the mechanical tacho like the RXZ buy a RXZ tacho worm kit. A hole has to be drilled in the clutch cover and a small gear from the wormkit has to be installed from the RXZ series. Its a pretty simple job but has to be done by a knowledgeable mechanic.
If you dont know how to drill the holes and stuff, simply buy the RXZ clutch cover which already has this provision. This is a bit rare to find though.Last edited by The Great; 09-07-2018, 03:21 PM.Code:It ain't important how fast u are drivin, its how u drive fast.
