Thanks. Sandhar is also decent, these days Hero Honda rims plating quality had dipped. Those spokes are of Old Fiero disc model's since RXZ 5 speed aren't available. So got hold of rxz old spokes and took length and vijaymeyou here helped getting fiero's which was more thick, just zinc dipped to get the new look.

Ride report after doing 100 miles on odo (going by the rxs meter).

The bike feels smooth with clutch release. It shows prowling characteristics and ready with just one good kick and no choke.
Seat is tall and I'm finding it bit clumsy so not waging much in the traffic. Does comfortable 30-40mph but being slightly cautious with the throttle.
Excessive smoke emitting but that would be till the tank oil dry out as I'm premixing too.
Need to fabricate clamp for front mudguard. Already threw an excuse to cops.

Do you think switching to a raised handle would help with the seating issue?

The front monogram cup is different than that of other RX series so the mounting points too. I need to fabricate L angled bracket to mount at the bottom of the monogram to fix number plate.

Re: Zeus - A story of RX-Z restoration

Update from the weekend:-

There was an issue with the bike that rubber joint from airfilter box to carburetor won't fit properly that joint was barely sits on mouth on airfilter box side. augmentor (vishal) and myself spent some time on how best can we resolve the issue. So when we had a close look at the mount points of the air filter box, there was something preventing the alignment that the box projected more towards the carburetor, hmm..something was wrong, wondering it was the box, incorrect frame mount points, incorrect mounting of air filter box and no dearth of thoughts running wild.

FYI.. this airfilter box is from another RXZ frame as the one which came in the bike had the battery compartment cut at the bottom.(Don't know why).
So we carefully checked each mount points that would seat it just right so the distance between the carburetor and airfilter box is correct.
There were three mounting points on the airfilter box. One on the top left which screws to the frame, the opposite side where there is just a straight nail like protrusion is welded on the frame. The airfilter box got a pivot with rubber that just needs to be hooked deep. The last one is at the bottom of the airfilter box moulded angular and on the frame there is a clamp where the airfilter box is supposed to sit and bolted on to the frame. However, that bolt was not fixed.

Then we decided to cut the bottom moulded mounting point as it was preventing the perfect setting. Since there won't be much weight except the battery, we hacksawed down clean. Now the box with top mounting point sat perfect and the distance between airfilter box mouth and carburetor seem to be perfect and te rubber joint sat just right.

The bike started with single kick and never needed to turn on the choke. Due to 2T oil 40ml/liter there were excessive smoke emitted during the run. I thought the bike was running very rich that hardly had turned out the AFR and that resulted in low mileage, 14 miles per 1.30 liters of petrol (Rs. 100). It is advisible to run rich but I'm no rich to feed all my earning till the run-in period.
Since the bike is already running on RXZ 4 speed carb which has 17.5 pilot and 165 mains against 5 speed carb(oval venturi) 15pilot and 135 mains. Thought could be the reason why there is a fluttering while at 3-3.2k RPM. So we decided to change the needle circlip position to 2nd slot from the top against 3 slot. Also, turned out the AFR to 1 1/2 turns out and and set it there. Took a test drive and there was no fluttering at all. Accelerator seem to be more crisp(could be my pschological thought too). Due to the number plate yet to be plonked, there's a slight hesitation in taking the bike out. Guess it's going to take a long time when I complete the run-in.

Today I had fixed the rear grab rail with carrier of RXZ 4 speed's. The one on the bike was an old mutated to look like 5 speed RXZ rear grab rail. I had given it to my friend for chrome plate job but only yesterday received. Picture to follow soon.

Got the number plate fixed but had to remove the monogram....sad. For now had got Suzuki bike's front numberplate and have bolted on to the tripple T.
Will need to re-engineer with weld guy to fabricate.

I'm still looking for the old type number plate. Oh yeah, now I ride with confidence and no more hide and ride. The carrier is OE and bought as a used one and got it plated.

If you come across any old type do let me know, that's the best I can tweek a bit to fit along with monogram.

After the weekend ride, will come up with updates how the bike behaves.
