Re: Suzuki Supra Powerup reborn- History revisited!
yes it did come with a grabrail as seen in the pic . also the model in the pic is a first generation Supra Powerup that had those forks with the caps and AX style headlight stays. The later models came with Ceriani type forks which were seen on the Shoguns and Samurais later. (the ones on my Supra)1985 Yamaha RD350 HT

Re: Suzuki Supra Powerup reborn- History revisited!
I read that the the engine parts came from different Suzuki's. Sorry if I missed it, what about the cylinder/piston block? Is it of Supra power-up?
Also, I could see a Samurai and AX100 in the pics, so you used parts from both the bikes for the rebuild?

TYes some new showroom staff was surprised to see a bike they had never heard of and some old staff was excited to see the bike after two decades and were seen explaining the junior staff about how fast Supra ans Shoguns were and how twostrokes ruled. i have the platic mudflap somewhere. Shud fix it soon.Originally posted by avhad sitaram View PostRealy owesome...!!
Showroom peoples might ask you..
is it model of tvs suzuki..??
What is supra??
Is it a pet name of your favourates..??
Btw
How about max 100 r mud flap on front..?

Thats right. Best of all Parts came from all Suzukis! The Samurai in the pic is the donor bike. And fuel tank with side panels from AX were used. Bore kit us Supra Powerup and i expect it to perform better than rhe 11 bhp model due to the combination of parts used.Originally posted by SatSon View PostI read that the the engine parts came from different Suzuki's. Re: Suzuki Supra Powerup reborn- History revisited!
So basically it is a Samurai (I guess you are using the Samurai papers too) with the bodywork of a AX100R modded to a Supra look and modded Samurai engine.Originally posted by yamdoot View Post
Some specs of whats going in the bike and engine in particular.
I tried to use the best of all twostroke Tvs Suzuki parts .
Suzuki Shogun complete gearbox
Suzuki Shogun clutch assy and primary drive
Suzuki Shogun Chain sprocket kit
Suzuki Shaolin Generator assy
Suzuki Shaolin Exhaust muffler
Suzuki Shogun VM20 SS carburetter
Suzuki Shogun Front and rear suspension
Suzuki Shogun Insrument cluster
Suzuki Shogun handlebar switches
Suzuki Shogun lt and rt lever and yokes
Suzuki Shogun Wiring harness
AFAIK the Shogun came with a 4 speed gear box. Only the Shoaling came with a 5 Speed.Originally posted by TVSian View PostAre you using the Shogun's 5 speed Gearbox sir ?

Re: Suzuki Supra Powerup reborn- History revisited!
Shogun has "High Sprint Gear" & Shaolin had "5 Speed Gear". Now according to what logic is "High Sprint=5 Speed"? And going by your logic, why did they put 5 Speed gear on the Shaolin? And BTW have you ever ridden a Shogun? Also the Shogun was launched before the RXZ 5 Speed. I was launched when Yamaha was still selling the RX100 (which was 4 speed before you start claiming it was 6 speed).Originally posted by TVSian View PostNope,Shogun had 'High Sprint Gear' which meant it had a 5 Speed Gearbox just like Yamaha RX-Z 5 speed (Cuz it was her Rival).Last edited by P3T3R; 05-10-2015, 11:07 AM.
