No issues, that's why I caught your attention while you were online ; I asked the other person to get in touch with Roaringriders, not sure if he spoke

Hi Pavan, the Engine will not seize if kept idle. You need to check if you are able to start the bike and ride it in this condition. You might have to work on the engine.

Sorry I meant low displacement Japanese.
RD 350 is a world wide legend. Personally I am a die hard fan of RD
    We can never compare RD..

Hey guys, this is my first post in the Exotics section.
My uncle has a Yezdi D250 Classic lying around and he wants me to take it and restore it and use it. The bike was running fine until it back kicked and my uncle parked it in the corner and it has been standing for almost 3 years. Any idea how much would it cost to bring it back to running condition? Even I haven't seen it yet and it is in Nashik.
It was running perfect 3 years ago. Will the engine seize on its own upon sitting idle?

Srini you have a fantastic line up of Yezdi's
Yezdi's will smoke away all the latest 4 strokers and even the 2stroke Jap
    The Chekhov rightly called
    "Forever Bike"
    "Forever Value"

I am fan of Yezdi for its twin exhaust note. A music for true 2stroke lovers...

Regarding RPM/Vibes - All yezdi's are low RPM high torque natured engines (2.1kgm @3500RPM /2.43kgm on @4700RPM) and revving them hard is not gonna produce any great results. I make this statement because most new people don't look at this fact that the engine is a different design compared to say your rev happy Rx135 4 speed which makes peak power at around 6500RPM. Don't look at just the 16 horses on the roadking - the torque and power are at lower rpms compared to modern bikes so keep that in mind while riding and you will leanr how to ride in the zone.

Thanks Sandeep...thanks a lot for the reply

cleaning carbs and new plugs will solve this problem...?

Vibration is too much at high rpm..especially when its reved much in first gear
I think the corne set hast to be replaced, what do u think my friends?
