Thanks for the kind words Pramod.

Not a complete restoration this time. The subject bike is already restored with some fancy paint scheme. All that it need is a cosmetic make over (to stock spec) which I'm planning after the monsoon.

That's quite painful, but to be frank it's a mistake from my side. I purchased the bike without any intention and thus ended with 2 bikes of same spec. Either I should have done only the cosmetic upgrade and sold her earlier or converted to 5s during restoration itself.

    No comments pramod.
This is not the 1st time I regret for purchasing RX spares online. (EDIT : from Olx, Facebook, etc)

      Could you please elaborate.

I might be in the market soon for some RX tidbits and I was hoping to buy from Indiaspares.

5s bug didn't end. Started looking for stock 5s RX and a couple of days back came across a 2000 model RX135 5S in Olx and Facebook. Some Whatsapp chats, few phone calls and last night inspected the bike, fully satisfied, paid token advance, fixed delivery time, and this (early) morning paid the balance and got her home. Yes, 00 RX135 5s replaced this 98 RX135 4s

Congrats on your new purchase. But sad to hear that you sold the one which you restored from your heart.. If its with your known friend who can take of her well, then its fine...

I have only positives feedback for Indiaspares.in
Bad experience is from Olx & Facebook (PS : I should have clarified this earlier, so I corrected my initial post)

the parts that indiaspares sell are genuine , but if you order larger quantities of smaller parts (screws ,washers, springs ,shafts, bushes etc) chances are they will miss out on a few or the parts you receive may not be what you had ordered , and it is very difficult to get them to refund once the parts are delivered , and the order takes almost a month to be delivered (it took that much for each of my orders) , if you want to place the order first call them up and confirm the availability of parts before making payment

I just placed an order with them on COD basis :-)

Having a tough time to figure out oil leak issue on my RX100 so ordered few oil pump parts. Let me see how long they take to deliver.
