For the tachometer, if you couldn't find the OE piece, try making a replica yourself since it is not a mechanical one.

Ho thats sounds promising i have come across 2 guys having the orginal RPM meter one guy says i don't remember where it is I have to search and another guy asks a bomb for that (2500/-) which i feel is very very expensive. And there is another guy who can do and give me a replica or from a broken piece they will build it on a SS cup instead of the orginal body.

Now i will try to get the cost and let you know and you guys give your suggestions. Thanks once again Mr. Boss

its not become a collectible or thats not the reason I am restoring this bike, This is an amazing engine and This has to be preserved because very few people wana do that to this machine, people are busy collecting RD 350's, Bobby, Scooters etc.,

Suprised your not aware that zundap is a collectable in Europe as part it the cold war memorebilia. Many explorer parts have been exporteded out after strip down.

Back to point there are doner bikes at 10-12k range. May help pick one up use up all you need sell the rest junk for what you get.

Cost isn't the concern bro. The donor bikes most of the times are too far gone with little to salvage.
I saw this with two BSA bikes here in Hyderabad near boats club. But I'll check see if I can find a suitable donor here. I saw a few zundaaps here. But don't get your hopes up, as I said most of these bikes are heavily modified or too far gone.
