If there is exactly 1Lt of petrol & 40ml of 2-T oil thorougly mixed in the tank, then whether or not you rip, the oil is bound to get finished when the petrol gets finished. So engine gets the same treatment all the time.

    The 2 stroke oil
is bound to finish sooner the more you are riding at higher RPM. This is exactly what the engine should get to avoid seizure. It may also sieze if the pump stops, hence it is always recommended to pull the pipe out of the carb & open the throttle to see if the 2-T oil is flowing or not. I do this check everytime is take my RXs for a long ride. Its been11Yrs now & till date i have had no issues with my RX.

Hello can you please tell me if who can import 510 & 710 oil with pricing?

I used to use Castrol Jettx on my 88' Yamaha RX 100, since Castrol have stopped selling synthetic based 2t oil and replaced with Castrol Go 2t plus most sellers stopped keeping stock of 2t oils, I have come across in using other 2t oils like Pennzoil 2t, Shell VSX 2t, Mak 2t, Motul Motomix 2t & finally got hands into Total Elf Moto2 Champ.

Pennzoil 2t sold in India is Mineral based just like Castrol Go 2t & Motul Motomix 2t. (Mineral based are ok for normal usage but emits more smoke)
The best 2t that I used was Shell VSX which is Synthetic based, smoke is lesser compared to Mak 2t but better than Castrol.

Now have filled my RX's 2t tank with Elf Moto2 Champ. Will update after riding few hundred kms. Click image for larger version

Yep,Same here! Using it on my Max 100R.It seems to be better than the Motul MotoMix,Easier starting,Noticeably lower smoke.Availability is the only problem.

Shell bunks could arrange 2t oil if one is willing to buy bulk 2t pack, say for example a dozen container pack. But of one wants just a litre or half a litre pack then its hard to source.

Motul Motomix is ok for normal use like BPCL's Mak 2t.

Yes! VSX 2T is better than Motul MotoMix. The problem with MotoMix is that it doesn't burn clean. I noticed a layer of gunk on the squish when i took apart the head for cleaning! Shell VSX is really good i was using it as premix till now. Will be using with Autolube soon now that i have a working pump.

              - Does the VSX we get in India is VSX 2 or just VSX ?
