My mech used to put Veedol (it was synthetic IIRC), as I didnt know anything before joining XBhp!
Later after a lot of difficulties, found Castrol 2T, and I could feel the change! The bike felt smoother!
As soon as it finishes, trying Motul 510 (IIRC) that I have at home! Also I mix a pouch of Castrol 2T (40 ml) once in a while to the tank and check the oil flow from the oil pump once in a while, as guided by everyone, esp. the seniors here.

P.S: From what I've heard, the people that use Motul (Any) swear by its performance!
Money can get a 1942 BSA these days, but even Warren Buffet's whole Bank account can't get us our leg back!

ok guys....
need to understand if thinner or thicker grade 2T oil is better for regular city use..
i am using kinectic honda which has a dry clutch and had gone through re-bore a year back.
i want to keep this scooter in running condition for as much as i can.
motul brand is too expensive for a scooter that hardly goes above 45.....( not easily accessible either in hyderabad )
which one is better for me. ( sometimes i travel 50 km at a stretch in hyderabad traffic)
shell vsx2 or castrol power 1 2T or castrol 2T.
according to the shell India website vsx2 is thicker and according to some review which i found by googling, castrol power 1 2T is a thinner oil.
at my speeds with a dry clutch i am not sure which 2T should help me running the engine smooth.
any kind of advise is really appreciated : )Comment
