While pouring it to the oil tank I felt it is less denser than Yamalube and more free flowing.

In the end, I am not sure, what exactly I got by paying Rs.150 over and above Yamalube.
The 510 is superb. It makes my bike super smooth and it even sounds better. I've even noticed that the carbon deposits in the engine and exhaust are lesser when using this oil. Probably because of the FD rating.

Petronas Sprinta 5000 is over in Bombay and they are not even intending to get more. Agip too isn't available here.

Just picked up Motul 800 and intend to try a little with the pump.

    • Hey Bladerunner glad to know you too use 510 2T. Love the results
But 800 2T has to be used only as premix and not with the pump (You can check the same on the Motul website. In this same thread check the post #144 made by our senior member Raccoon). I use both the oils, result of 800 2T awesome. Try it

      Cheers!!

      • Strange that I didn't notice any difference There was a little bit of Yamalube left in the Oil tank when I filled 510. Maybe thats the cause of me not finding any difference?

        • Was at the Yamaha Factory shop in Malad. The new Yamalube 2T bottles are in stock and its now semisynthetic. Cost 230/- per litre.

          Should be worth it.

          • Yamalube

If ur commuting is through highways with constant high speeds than yamalube worth every cent of it.....

But if ur commuting is locally and very less occasionally on highways (high speeds) then try other one.I will try shell which is now available here, else tried Kinetic 2t (manufactured by Shell India) nd results are good as par concerned to smoothness nd pick up

                • Premix Ratios Only

                  Premix ratio...
If you ride like no tomorrow - 35+ml per litre of petrol
If you ride fast* & sane - 25-30 ml per litre of petrol
If you ride sane & good speeds* - 20-25 ml per litre of petrol
If you ride sane & slow - 18-20 ml per litre of petrol

Sorry I do not know about oil pump as I'm using premix for long time.
                  * Fast means you can go upto any speeds you desire but you don't ride like maniac means no frequent braking, but you reach to those speeds only when possible. Good speeds means, you ride fast but do no exceed 60 Kmph (where the green marking on speedo ends)

                        • You will have to wait a long time for that. My 2T oil tank is still about 3/4th full and I hardly ride nowadays. I will surely share my feedback about Agip once I try it.
