I'm a sucker for exotic bikes and the TZR will bankrupt me. I'm not worried about buying superbikes...but this screamer has me nibbling fingernails everytime I think about it. It is also more likely to get me arrested or killed. I am sure it will thrill me in ways that a superbike can only dream. It scares me...

Sort of like the time I got my 200 miles on the saddle of a '05 Zx-10R. The axe-murderer attitude of this bike turned me into a whimpering nubbin. I wanted to find a womb and hide in it after that ride. My mind tells me that riding the TZR around the track will be a similar experience...and that is a prospect I find incredibly hard to turn my back on. I thought of selling it because of a few attractive offers but that was pretty much the end of it...

As far as "GS" is concerned - nothing is certain until the curtain drops and you will find me looking up slick-tire options for the TZR on the internet if you happened upon me in the office right now

    • Another step forward in the TZR chronicles...

Rajkumar11 (Raju) has completed the custom chambers for my bike last week. These are inspired by FIII chambers with a custom touch from his side considering my requirements as well. Here is a short video of the bike running the new pipes:

The bike has a new gas-tank and a half-fairing is going on it today for the initial testing.

Phew...a LONG wait but the results are going to be awesome!

      • Almost a year since my last update to this thread. Looks the Teezer chronicles are slowly winding to a close. The restoration job took a lot longer than I expected and I gave up about a year back and forgot that I even had a TZR. Eventually though things got a move along and the bike is now almost complete. All that is missing now are mirrors, rear indicators and a windscreen bubble.

        Some pics for you:

Soon...very soon. The bubble should be ready this week. I want to ride the bike around the track and get a few RTO formalities sorted out first. There is also a possibility of me relocating to Bangalore so the final destination of all my rides is still a question mark

I guess so but you guys are lucky in that case because I am the first person to handover the keys to anyone I trust/know well. If you are in town and want to check out the bikes do let me know.
