I would have spent 9K for that front disc setup, and I know you have completed it less than half of that amount. Now that is what I called cost management.
      Helmet off to you man!
Thanks, you would have spent 9k for the disc come on it would have cost you 13-14k at the max, and availability of the parts is the next issue you know well than me

why not go for a rxz disk setup? what will be the cost for getting the disk brakes(cost factor to be considered).
Karthik i have tried everything i was qouted 7k only for the disc plate forget about the rest of the stuff, you get disc pads for the Z but not OE all are crap.

Serpent killers had sent me a pm asking for the disc info, thought of putting it up here so it would be usefull for others too

@serpent killers the complete disk set was picked up from the junk yard and the hub is brand new all in all costed me 4k.

The rtr set up is a direct fit on a rx only change you have to do is buy a
pair of RTR fork pistons and fork oil seal , no need to change the fork tube (coz the rx and rtr share the same dia which is 30mm approx) and springs, the fork legs might have to be faced in lathe, in my case the suspension was on a stiffer side when i fixed it across gave the bike to bike world jayanagar they have done some facing on the legs and everything is perfect now, if you need a speedo on your bike source a fiero hubset, if you don't need a speedo then F2 hub, in my case i didn't need a speedo so went on with the F2 hub, i have to thank sandeep k ram for that, sandeep thumba thanks

A warning to guyz who are fixing the rtr disc setup on there bike , first
source the hub and then disassemble the bike, getting a fiero hub or a f2 hub is a big pain tvs sucks big time, my bike was lying 15days in my portico without a hub so please don't go through what i went better be cautious.

It will be a problem to procure Disc pads for the RXZ disc brakes.

Returned from office pretty soon today had nothing to do removed the uni gave it a clean wash oiled it and started fiddling around with the oil pump settings, finally decided to disconnect it emptied the oil in the tank disconnected the cable so from now on no oil pump.
