    Ok, I will see if there is any chance of getting them. But silver... I really doubt... lets see. If available, you want me to buy them pronto?

    I guess I should check out with a good scratch remover 1st. As for the stickers (if I repaint)... you think they will be available? Or can they be made or something??

      The OEM stickers are available. Contact Zen TVS in Bangalore, you would be looking for Mr. Krishnamurthy. Regarding the tail panels, if you come across just let me know.

                My college days were during the RX100 v/s Shogun era too. Having an RX100 myself at that time, I envied the Shoguns which were "supposed' to be better than the RX100s

                Now you have both ... nice

                    Yep the "better" factor was a controversial stuff back then (probably now also). Some believe the Shogun was built to take on the RX and was better than it. While others believe the RX was always better than the 'gun in terms of design, quality and longevity.

                      Also handling wise the Rx was better, But a Shogun could smoke out an RX any day on straight line speed. I know cos I had an Rx and me Best mate a Shogn and we've dragged inumerable times on it. But on Curves the Rx can fly rings around a Shogun. The cornering and braking on a Rx is way better than on the Gun.

                        ^^ Thats because the so called old two strokes have old model swingarm and shocks, one should try the 17 (front)and 18(rear) inch wheels combination on any two stroke trust me the word handling will get a new meaning all toghether.

                          this trip started on an rx 100, but somewhere the shogun came in the picture and now the rx is no where to be seen!

                            As I mentioned in my first post, once the rainy season gets over you will be able to see some "scenes" about the "dream".

                                oh, ok.. have been following few of the threads of those who have restored/modified their bikes in the past. it was like a machine being reborn bit by bit, part after part, right in front of you as you click 'next'. guess its that overenthusiasm that made me miss the monsoon part that you had mentioned..
