    Redone? original?

z console, pulsar shocks, 16" rear, bar handle, front disc, 5 speed casing,135 seat, enticer numerplate mount(or is it the generic black coloured one?), and waht's that thingy like the sareeguard footrest? Is the tacho connected?

How did you source the new chasis(excuse my ignorance, maybe you just bought a new one)? do you have it endorsed it in your rc?

Btw, it looks neat and well done.
& where in kerala are you from?

        sharp observation...

i mean all original yamaha parts !!

Pulsar shox (too hard on RX) and 16 inchers (not good for my back..getting older) are out.this is a 1 year old snap.

yes..changed the chassis after a fall (stamped original chasiss no...by dealer)

number plate is original only, exactly....it is saree guard foot rest.i am just sourcing the tacho drives, hope to connect it soon...i am from kottayam , presently out on a project

So the chassis number remains the same?
Was it done by the ASC? I'm asking coz i get the feeling that my steering is a little bent and is not quite centred.(You know, oru side valivu). If possible and practical, I'd like to get a new frame

and how much did it cost?

so it's got the black painted steel mounting from the forks rt? I tried to get one but ended up buying an enticer mount(plated steel) and had it cut and welded to make it narow.

          Cheers

the new frame was RS 2800/- , i changed in 2007.The dealer stamped the same chassis no.

that no. plate is original 87 model mounted on the mudguard side screws.

After covering about 1 week/350 kms, there is a sound from the engine.. When i consulted my mechanic, he said piston need replacement. ...
Ho!!! i lost my control... I dont know what to do. it's my first bike. oh god!!
I rushed to the dealer and told them about the problem. He returned me Rs.1000 . Now the bike is with my mechanic for replacing the piston.

While purchasing the bike, me and other 3 people rode the bike back to back, there was no hint of an engine problem. The bike was performing fine, and there were no annoying noises from the engine side or any part of the bike. After riding few days the problem started. Hope I can fix it.

Once the bike s back make sure you start using good 2t oil.

There was no oil in the tank. But I always used to mix oil with petrol.

I'll get my bike back at tomorrow morning. Rs.705 for 2nd over piston, and Rs.82 for minor kit.

What is the correct ratio of oil-petrol mixture ?? I used 1:1 ratio,
