Re: Project IND-SUZUKI AX100
dear naveen, I have 2 questions abt ur IND-Suzuki rebuild,
1. The IND-Suzuki AX100 came with 6V electrical system. are u going with 6V or 12V for the rebuild?.
2. In the IND-Suzuki AX100, if we have to remove the rear wheel in case of puncture, we have to remove the rear shock absorber also. My father had replaced the original IND-Suzuki swingarm with MAX100R type swingarm for ease of maintenance on the rear wheel. He also sold off the original AX100 shocks ( front and rear ) and replaced them with MAX100R type shocks....I saw ur electroplating on the AX100 shocks and it was awesome....Is it possible to custom make AX100 type shocks(for my rebuild)?.

I had read this thread recently and you are progressing very well with your ride. I am excited to see the final outcome.Originally posted by Naveen Reddy View PostGoing great so far. Most of the parts are in place and painting has come to the final stages..

I think that you must have gone mad in finding these parts unless and until you had preserved them from a long time as the packing colour is yellow

Yes I am converting to 12v .. 6is just junk won't even lit the headlights right
I am building the bike back to factory specs both inside out. And want to keep it authentic. Will not change the swing arm
I don't think we can custom make - I assume you are asking if we can replicate. If yes I would say not a good idea rather find used parts and restore them

yes collecting parts for this bike seems to be a much harder than collecting parts for my rd build. i have been collecting stuff for quite a while. like always i want the build to be as close as i could get to the factory standards. fingers crossed.
i am an IT Engineer and i get time only on weekends to sit and work on big items. all the little stuff i generally spare an hour or two daily and dealShoot with a Nikon..Drive a Chevy..Ride a Yamaha

Tank and side doors need decal work. Will then get clear lacquer sprayed. Rest of the parts are fully ready. Painted to perfection. Letting them dry for couple of days more before i start the final assembly

And the paint selection was awesome.
Which colour schemes are you choosing for the decal work.

the painter is one of the best in town, i have even got anti rust tank treatment done. the reason i have chosen silver is simple,, my dads ind suzuki was of the same color
blue decals, i have also made a soft copy of the decals . did a ton of work on decal design, i have replicated the OEM.Shoot with a Nikon..Drive a Chevy..Ride a Yamaha
