Ax100 is any given day a much better looking bike and has the classic flavour. Max 100 is a 90s bike. Can't compare them both

I would like to thank every person who helped during this Journey. Had to over come many pain points while sourcing the parts and finding the best skilled force. Tried my best to get as close as it was in the 80's when rolled out of factory.
let me know what you think of the build guys

wow very nice. congrats. waiting for more pictures and videos. Do post the pictures here as well as on the 'All xbhp strokers.....post your bike pictures here' sticky thread.

I was surprised that your final bike has metal indicators which adds to the authentic AX100 look. because the picture of the blue AX100 u have posted on page 1 has normal fibre indicators. anyway superb work done. My AX100 has all 4 metal indicators with holders still intact. Also my AX100 has 'IND-SUZUKI' written on the gearbox side covers but I find only 'SUZUKI' on your AX100 gearbox side covers.

Anyway this restoration is one of the most precious and most emotional restoration for me ever.

Mine in a 1985 model ..first batches are direct imports and made in Japan.

They have assembled some basics in India.

I have collected parts from out side India as well to make it most authentic as possible

Yes it is very emotional indeed

Please make an update on the exhaust as well. You have told that you are going for a max100 muffler assy. But as far as i know the max 100 exhaust has got shields/guards which are not present on Ax-100.

When we do something that we are really mad at it, attention to detail plays a great role and its a must.

Did you install a float in the tank to get the Fuel Gauge working? If I'm not wrong, your meter is from a last gen Samurai.

                  Hi,

Bismaya. The fuel meter doesnt work. Only last Model samurai had these meters. We had plans for a Shogun speedo and were hunting for the same but this came as a deal for an attractive price and we took this without a second thought and got it restored. And we just did a random check to find out whether we could work up the fuel gauge. But the mech told, samurai gauge fitment to this tank will be an issue and samurai upgrade wiring kits are no longer available. Hence we just kept this as dummy.
                  .
Few weeks bef the samurai upgrade speedo was replaced by a Shogun Cluster. But RPM is damaged, will correct that once we get someone who can actually help us with the electronics side.

Actually prasath the first batch Ax-100's has only SUZUKI embossed on their clutch cover as well as magnet cover. There are some more parts where you will be seeing only suzuki instead of IND-SUZUKI like the air filter box, Speedometer top cover and oil tank. I think the models from 86 only has got the Suzuki replaced by IND-SUZUKI.

And i am posting one of my doubts here. Some of the speedometer for Ax-100 came with YENKAY's speedometer machinery. Is anyone knowing more about this?

Hey Mahn. Thanks for the comment. The fork assembly is from Suzuki Samurai. We had tried our level best to keep the majority parts from Suzuki 2S Models. And this max has something or the other from each suzuki models.
