Re: Project IND-SUZUKI AX100
As always there is something that delays the project in the last minute and that's happens for a good reason.. the is fired up and it runs like charm.. when I have noticed the fork chrome tubes has few dings exactly where the oil seals sit we have tried filling oil and do a leak test.
As a worst nightmare it failed to pass and the pain in neck then started non of the stores locally have ax100 fork tubes or the oil seals. I have even tried to hunt for oil seals based on the dimensions yet no luck.. upon a great effort I found one set with new oil seals in Chennai and finally made the payment and got them via over night shipping.
Many folks suggested to get new max100r front end and install. Yet I want to build the ax100 as close as it can be when out of factory. Well I can say most likely I will finish the bike by tomorrowShoot with a Nikon..Drive a Chevy..Ride a Yamaha

1. Any reason for your choice of the Motul 2000 Multipower as the engine oil. I'm using Castrol CRB Plus on my MAX100R.
2. regarding the forks...yesterday I went to my home city Trichy ( TN elections
) rode the IND-Suzuki AX100 for a while I also checked with my dad that he had sold the original AX100 forks....so I have to go with MAX100R forks during my restoration. I also went and met my long-time local mechanic and informed him that my IND-Suzuki restoration will be happening may be in the near future.
3. I have one IND-Suzuki related thing to show you....but didn't have a picture of it right now....just wait.....

Ok a bit off topic, but here goes..........Originally posted by Naveen Reddy View Postplaning to service my RSV4 with liqui Moly.
man the Aprilia RSV4, yes I already saw that in ur avatar and ur list of rides in the signature. The only technical knowledge I have abt the RSV4 is that it runs a 65-degree V4 engine. its a very unique design. Also aprilia RSV4 is probably the best sounding superbike also.
I also saw that you are invited, appreciated and recognized by yamaha in ur RD350 restoration thread..congrats a lot...awesome....

Yes bro you are right. The rsv4 has a very unique engine design and it is absolutely fast . 0-100 in 2.7 seconds. 😎
I have race ecu from Aprilia and akrapovic carbon fibre exhaust. The bike from.the factory is 185 HP and with the light weight exhaust and race ecu I suppose it pumps close to 195 HP ..I'll be doing the service soon and will replace stock airfilter with k&n
Yes the Rd is a sweet buddy..keep loving her more.
Motul anyday most of the motul products are imported and not made in India. Try out buddy u might like it
Cheers for the apprication

Re: Project IND-SUZUKI AX100
Part number 11 is a nylon bushing that keeps the inner metal tube in place as well positioning the bottoms and top end inline to the centre. This helps the upper fork cups to stay right.
While taking the bike apart for paint I have noticed one of the bushing is damaged and need a replacement. Here comes the pain part tried to find a new part as well on the other hand source a nylon solid bar and get it trimmed at lathe works
After a good hunt managed to source brand new part from Chennai
