Superb efforts there buddy, work is of top notch. If you have not fitted the the engine rh casing then plz make sure there is no free play betn primary gear and clutch play dogs. Often there are chances that primary gear fitted in reverse direction and that makes umwanted rattling noise from engine and plz punch mark in the outer side of primary gear.

Have you replaced the kick bearing/thrust washer of counter shaft..? Its the weakest part in the engine and shiuld be replaced otherwise the small bearing like things of it may scattered and fiddle with the gears

Plz check the length of the clutch springs before installation. Its a commonly neglected thing by mech. If you prefer to change springs as a set then oe springs are often comes with three different lengths ( slightly differ in length which is prone to premature failure of clutch plates coz if we compensate there length by adjusting all the spring heads evenly then there will be a diff in expansion of springs)

Where you got the three petal reed valve bro.?
Really nice work is going on and keen to see full restoration.

The original pump that came with the bike from factory. Non of the parts are opened bro till day. The engine cases are opened by me for the first time

Bike has clocked around 34k till day from 1985. And the best part is being untouched every part is so mint . I just did some wd40 and applied air pressure blower .. nothing beyond that.

The servo pipes are still soft and good. Just replaced them as they might get hard sometime soon

That's amazing! I'm also gonna do an engine rebuild,Hopefully I can get the oil pump clean and stuff.Year 1984 and only 34K till day is amazing.Bike hasn't run a lot.Mine has done close to twice that but it's 2001 model. But it wasn't run-in properly in its younger days,so it's making all sorts of weird noises.

                        I'm changing all bearings,connecting rod,boring out to 0.5mm,new piston&rings,balancing and reseating crank,new oil seals,gasket kit.etc.Hopefully I can get her running well.

Last time I went for De-Carb job for my engine and exhaust. That was the first time the head was opened! Was exciting.

All the best! It's shaping up to be amazing!

The tvs made cranks are certainly not as good as the Japanese made suzuki cranks.i suggest you to buy a new crank rather than rebuild .. personal though

Why .5 why not .25 size bore

its very emotional for me to see the IND-Suzuki coming back to mint condition.

                            1. what coating/polish you used for the IND-SUZUKI logo on the fuel tank?.
                            2. The AX100 stickers on the side panels custom made?...looks so authentic.

Yes,But it seems that anyways I am changing the piston after rebore, might as well go all out and get it rebuilt so all the problems get fixed. The engine has never been opened,so vital parts haven't been touched.Anyways,I have started searching for a Japan Crank.Do you know until when the crank was made in Japan ? Was it until the Supra came ?

Why 0.5mm ? Because I've been riding the engine, ripping the bike since day one and this was with this engine noise. So my mechanic suggested that 0.5mm will be better as there will be better finishing than 0.25mm.My tank and carb was really dirty so the bore might have scratch marks due to debris going inside. So 0.5mm will get rid of even deep scratches and that will be nice.

I have got them buffed and then used Autosol metal polish.. then hand painted the blacks

Decals I have made the outline design on Photoshop and got them cut on vinyal
